Taylor's P.O.V

"She's waking up!" 

"Oh, thank God" 

"It's not like you stayed up for the nights. How can you be tired?"

"Was that on your chest or something? You wanted to get that off?"

"Chill guys, I don't think she needs to wake up with you both arguing" 

The beeping sounds were slow and steady, just like the way I was breathing. 

I don't think they knew I was up, but I wasn't about to open my eyes. 

I was fine where I am. 

In darkness. 

I didn't need to have something trigger the memories of what happened recently. They were fresh and engraved in my mind. 

I think that's why I was never really unconscious. I was never really sent into the deep abyss that everyone gets when they are admitted. 

I was just physically and emotionally drained. 

Too much had happened in the 48 hours and I wasn't sure what was worst. 

I wasn't sure I can recover either. 

The temporary darkness I was in wouldn't save or keep me from its downfall. 

"Taylor" 

That was Jill. She wanted me to wake up, but I couldn't. 

I didn't. 

I heard her in my sleep constantly talking to me. I guess they told her I was in a coma. 

She was really scared. I could have heard it in her voice. She was somewhat afraid to lose me. 

She was late. 

I heard the quiet mumbles of Max too. He was trying not to sound weak around me, but he was. That's how I knew he loved me.

He whispered it in my ears the first time he got here. He thought I was oblivious to the world, but I was now more aware than ever. 

My eyes were closed, but they were wide open to the world we live in today. 

Ky is married. 

Ky was a drug dealer. 

Ky dealt drugs. 

Ky has a wife.

Ky's brothers-in-law are the ones who kidnapped me. 

Ky's brothers-in-law are the ones who hurt me. 

Try to kill me. 

It was Ky. 

My mind was like an automated machine trying to piece the pieces together. An automatic puzzle fulfilling its own work. 

He was lying to me the whole time. 

He made me feel like I was the bad one when he was the worst. 

He lied to me. 

Ky is married. 

He never mentioned that. We were dating for a month and a half and he haven't mentioned he had a wife.
