Black and White ✘ Black Butler

Chapter 2

                The school bell finally rang and the school day was already over, which was a good thing since it was the start of the weekend and I have time to relax. I already said my goodbyes to Isabella and Edward, even though I'll see them later today. I walk to the front of the school and see the black BMW, which Sebastian uses to drive me anywhere I want to go. Once I reach the car, I sit in the backseat of the car.  

"So how was your day Miss C.L." Sebastian says. As soon as I put on my seat belt, he drives off the parking lot and heads back to the mansion.

"Do I really need to answer?"

He sighs "No."

We make it back to the mansion in just a short amount of time, and I hop out of the car and run inside the mansion. I have to do all my work before Bell and Edward come over.

~Time Skip~

It's 6:00; the twins should be here any minute now. I wait in my office as I finish up the last of my paperwork when I hear Sebastian from the other side of my door.

"Miss C.L., Isabella and Edward are here."

I sigh, "I'll be out in a second." On the other side, I hear Sebastian's footsteps grow quieter as he walks away from the door. I put away the papers, get up from my chair, and walk out of the room then make my way to the front door of the mansion to greet my friends. After cascading down the long flight of stairs, I catch up to Sebastian and greet my friends.

"Hello C.L." They both say.

"Hello, you two."

"Look we didn't say this earlier and sorry for not telling you, but is it okay that both Bell and I sleep over?" Edward asks. The twins give me nervous smiles as they hold up their bags filled with their necessities.

I sigh as I run my hand through my hair, "I suppose I'll let this one slide, so of course; I guess having you guys here wouldn't be bad. Sebastian can you go and get us some snacks."

"Of course, young mistress," Sebastian bows and leaves to get the snacks I requested. We head off to the media room so we could have easy access to a television in order to watch our favorite shows. We walk into the room; which has large flat screen TV, a large cozy, brown couch, a glass sliding door that leads to the garden, and an X-Box and Wii game set with hundreds of games piled on the side. Bell and Edward set their bags right next to the couch and Sebastian walks into the room carrying some tea, cookies, and muffins.

"Here you go Young Mistress." He sets down the tray on the plain, brown coffee table in front of the couch.

"Thank you Sebastian, these look delicious," Bell takes a blueberry muffin from the tray.

"Yes thank you," I say as I take a cookie from the tray. He just simply nods and walks out of the room.

"Oh hey C.L. why don't we change into our PJs and then watch some movies," Bell stands up from the couch and picks up her pink duffle bag.

"Um ok I'll be right back. You two can use the bathroom to change," I point to the door at the opposite side of the room. Bell was the first to take the room. I walk out of the room and make my way to my bedroom. As I make the short journey to my room, I notice Sebastian standing in the hallway.

"Hey Sebastian, can you get some blankets and bring them to the media room."

"I bring them right away." I smile then we go our separate ways. He goes one way to retrieve the blankets and I go another to my room.

~Bell's POV~

I finish changing into a blue shirt with a Doctor Who logo, blue sweats, and peach-colored fuzzy socks. I see my brother comfortably lounging on the couch while drinking some tea. I set my bag aside and jump next to him, causing the couch to shift a little with my weight.

Once I'm settled, I put my knees close to my chest and look at my brother. "Edward, the dance is 3 weeks away."

"Yea, I know. What about it?" He continues drinking his tea and doesn't bother looking at me.

"When are you going to ask C.L. to be your date to the dance?"

"Bell didn't you listen to her today, she said she doesn't even want to go." He sets down the cup on the coffee table.

"I know what she said, but she also said she would think about it. If you ask her then most likely she would go with you. You 'are' her best friend, Edward." My voice began rising with each passing second. I almost sounded more commanding then reassuring

"I just don't know Bell."

"What are you afraid of; C.L. would never hurt you Edward. You have had a crush on C.L. ever since we were 9 years old just ask her to the dance."

"Bell it's not that easy."

"Yes it is all you have to do is go up to her and say 'C.L. would you like to dance with me'. Why are you being such a chicken?"

"I just can't do it."

"Yes you can.... Or else I'll tell C.L. about your crush on her."

"All right then! I'll ask her to the dance just not today, does that make you happy?!"

I smile and nod. I grab the remote and start switching channels on the TV. Edward, clearly done with me, grabs his bags and stomps off to the bathroom to change.

~Sebastian's POV~

I retrieve the blankets Catherine had requested me to get for her and her friends. I cruise along the hallway, taking my time getting to the room her friends were currently occupying. It was the only time I had to myself while the three imbeciles were out of the house. Finally, I reach the door when I heard the Montgomery's talking. Luckily, with the aid of the door blocking me, the two siblings wouldn't notice my presence. I listen to their entire conversation while standing beside the door on the other side of the wall.

"... Edward. You have had a crush on C.L. ever since we were 9 years old; just ask her to the dance." I heard Isabella practically yelling at her brother.

'So, Edward has a liking towards Catherine,' I thought to myself. 'I don't think I approve of this at all.'

"All right then! I'll ask her to the dance just not today, does that make you happy!" I hear Edward say as he stomps away to the bathroom.

'Oh Edward, I don't think you will be asking her to anything without getting through me. I'll just have to make sure she doesn't go to the dance, but if she does, I'll just make sure she doesn't go with you.' I smile to myself. Then, I leave the blankets on the side of the door and walk away towards Catherine's room.
