~Rose's POV~

I look up from the chess board to look at the time. It's 5:45 p.m. I knew C.L.'s friends would be here soon at any moment, so I should already be on my way. So far, the day was like any other day when I come to visit my niece: C.L. and I have lunch, we go shopping in London, and now we were just finishing up a game of chess. Playing chess was our favorite activity ever since I taught her how to play when she was five.

"C.L.," I start, "I must be going now. Your friends are going to arrive soon, and I don't want you to worry about me when their here." I rise from my seat and grab my handbag from the floor.

"What?" She looks over at the clock. "Oh right, I almost forgot they were coming. Well, goodbye, Aunt Rose." She gets up from her seat and gives me a hug.

"Bye C.L." I hug her back.

"Sebastian, please escort, Aunt Rose, to the door"

"Of course C.L., right this way Miss Rose" I walk out of the room and make my way towards the front with Sebastian right behind me. Once we reach the front door, I grab my coat from the coat hanger.

"Please, Miss Rose, allow me," Sebastian offers. He grabs my coat and helps me put it on. After I button up my coat, Sebastian opens the door for me and I was met with a chilling breeze..

"Thank you, Sebastian." I walk out the door and head towards my mini cooper.

"You're welcome, Miss Rose."

I stop in my tracks and turn to face Sebastian. "Sebastian, I know you have taken care of Catherine all these years but promise me that you will protect her with your life. I've already told her about 'That Day', and I know it will only cause trouble. She'll want to know who killed her parents and bring them to justice. You just make sure she doesn't get herself killed and protect her at all cost."

With that he puts his hand on his chest and bows his head. "Miss Rose, I vow to protect Catherine's life as if it was my own. After all, I've been protecting her ever since I brought her back. That is what Ciel, her father, demanded I do."

I smile, "Thank you, Sebastian." With that, I turn back around and walk towards my car. Now, I know why Sebastian has always stayed by C.L.'s side. It was an order from her father. He was merely following a dead man's final wish. Or, was there something else to this story?

~C.L.'s POV~

I glance back at the clock hanging high up on the wall; 5:50 p.m., 'Thank God; I still have time till everyone gets here,' I thought. 'Hmm, I wonder what I should do when they come over?'

Just then, Sebastian walks in the room. "C.L., what do you plan on doing tonight?" He asks. He comes up to the table then picks the chess pieces and places them inside a small box.

"Ugh. I don't know; I haven't had time to plan anything for when everyone arrives." I rest my arm on the arm of the chair and lay my head on my hand. It was utter torture trying to come up with something decent to do for my friends' visit. Finally, a light bulb went off in my head. "I think I've got something! I can ask Brad just to make some pizza. I haven't had his world-famous pizza for such a long time and merely taking delivery will take too long. Also, we can just lounge around in the media room. I mean, we really don't do anything besides hog up the videogame console and watch programs. Plus, it is closer to the yard so when we're bored we can just go outside."
