~C.L.'s POV~
Just as the school bell rings, all the students jump from their seats and dash out of their classroom towards the lunchroom to eat. But, I didn't bother to follow the crowd. My friends and I had our own little hide out we always go to during this time of the day. With that, I grab my lunch from my locker and meet up with Bell and Edward at one of the doors leading towards the outdoors. We make it to our usual table, one of which had a large blue umbrella to shade us from the sun. We sit in our designated seats and wait for our other half of the group before we decided to dive into our meals.
"So C.L. are you going to the dance with my brother," Bell said.
"Wait you knew?"
"Of course I knew. My brother can never keep any secrets from me."
"Well to answer your question, yes I am going with him." I grab Edwards hand and rest my head on his shoulder. I didn't have to look at him to know that he was blushing a million shades of red. Bell and I always knew of ways in embarrassing him.
She giggles. "Well, I'm happy for you two. Now, Stephen won't have to drag you to the dance himself."
"Uh thanks, I guess." I look around, trying to see if I could spot either one of our other friends, but after realizing they were no where to be seen, I decide to start eating my lunch before my stomach could rumble any louder than it was doing. I take out the sandwich from my bag and unwrap the plastic around it. Just as I was about to take a bite from my savory meal, I just remembered something that practically made me lose my appetite. I drop the sandwich and look over at the twins. "Hey guys..."
They look over at me. "Yes?" Bell says.
"Do you remember when we had the sleepover, and you told me some stuff about Sebastian."
"I remember, and by the way, I'm still sorry about what I said." Edward states.
"No; it's alright, Edward. It's just... I think you guys might be right."
"What?!" They yell out in sync. "You better not be joking with us."
"No, no guys I'm not. Just, bear with me. When you and the others came over to the manor the other day, I... saw some things. While you were asleep, I decided to go into my basement, which I didn't know was there, and found some old photographs in a shoebox."
"Well, the fact that you were in a basement is already freaky enough," Bell interrupts. "Sorry, C.L., continue."
"Anyways... I saw a picture of Sebastian. But, those picture were so old. I was practically still a baby, and there he was looking the same as usual!! Even Tom has aged more than Sebastian has!! I don't know what's going on, but after everything that has happened recently, I think you guys were right." Fortunately, I was able to leave out the fact that I came face to face with an actual Grim Reaper, or so Grell had stated. If I had given them that, they would have thought I've gone mad.
"Are you serious? You're not pulling anything on us?" Edward asks.
" I swear I'm telling you guys the truth. If I had the photograph with me, I would show you guys."
"Then..." Bell starts. "What does that make Sebastian? Is he some sort of vampire or something?"
"I'm not sure. But, I plan to find out."
"B-B-But-"
"Don't worry guys; it's best if I this on my own. I don't want you guys to get hurt."
