The sudden movement of tiny paws walking across my body, ending just past my cheek, is what woke me up from my sleep. Once I felt the last of the small paws walking across my face, I use my hand to swat away what was there. Then, with my heavy eyelids still droopy from the peaceful rest, I open my eyes, expecting to find Snowy walking along the bed, only to discover a ball of black fur walking along my bed. I immediately knew it was the infamous Smokey casually walking along the cushion, thinking he claims the bed for himself.

A smile crept along my lips and I shut my eyes once again. But, wait, Smokey wasn't suppose to be in my room. He wasn't the one I was taking care of. With that, I snap my eyes open and push myself into a sitting position. Before my mind could focus on what was going on, I was face-to-face with the mischievous demon himself. I quickly realize that I was a mere couple of inches away from his face causing my face to blush a deep red.

"What on Earth are you doing here?" I ask. I tried my absolute hardest to keep my cool; I was only a few seconds away from completely freaking out. I mean, if I pushed myself any further, my lips would have connected with his.

"I came to wake you, Catherine. Remember, we agreed to start working on your powers," he states.

I slowly push myself away from his face just to put some distance away from him. "And, you couldn't just wake me like a normal person!"

"Do I seem normal to you?"

"Well, couldn't you just wake me like you usually do instead of being a creepy stalker?"

"How could I be a stalker? I live here. Besides, I thought you would be less upset if I used your pet to wake you."

"Point taken. Now, leave me alone!"

"As you wish, Catherine." He gives me his usual smirk before he pushes himself off the bed and exits the room, leaving me behind with Snowy and Smokey..

Just as he shuts the door, I push the blankets off of me and rush over to my walk-in closet. I take in a deep breath before I begin to change.

'Seriously, does he enjoy watching me sleep? Why can't he be normal; oh wait, because he's a freaking demon for crying out loud!' I thought.

I didn't know what to expect from this training session, so I change into a plain black t-shirt, grey ripped-jeans, and my favorite Doc Martens. After fully changed, I exit the closet and open the curtains to let in the light. But, when I push the curtains open, I didn't get the light I was expecting. The sun was barely rising. Then, I turn to the clock and check the time.

"Six o'clock in the morning?! Is he serious?!' I groan then stomp out of my room. No wonder I was more groggy than usual.

I slam the bedroom door shut, and I notice Sebastian close by, leaning against the wall, waiting for me to exit my room. I let out a puff of air and start walking towards the kitchen. I might as well get something to eat if he expects me to work at a time like this.

"Why the hell did you wake me up so damn early?" I wasn't exactly a morning-person. If you wake my unexpectedly, I will literally murder you in you're sleep.

"It was best to take as much time as we need."

"Well, it better end soon. I promised Bell I would go shopping with her later today."

"I'm sure we'll be done before noon."

"We better. I want to get back the extra hours of sleep I was robbed from!"
