Hey guys!!! So, here's another chapter for y'all to read... I apologize for the wait; there was just a lot that went off the last few weeks. Also, please beware that some of the "fighting scenes" might not be the best. It's not a strong suit in my writing skills, but I'm trying to work on it so bear with me.

But, you guys... grab yourselves some tissues cause the feels are about to pour. Believe me, I cried a lot while writing this, so don't think I'm a heartless writer. I have feelings too!!!

Anyways, hope you guys enjoy this chapter... It's a real doosy.

~CL's POV~

I glance out of my window, looking into the night sky, before turning back to face my group of friends. The sky was clear of any clouds so all was exposed for everyone to see. The moon was full, shining on the land and creating strong shadows despite being in the peak of night. Shining along with the white moon, hundreds, or possibly thousands, of twinkling stars scattered along the black sky creating intricate constellations as if outer-space was simply a blank canvas waiting to be drawn on. The sky was so beautiful it almost looks fake! Tonight would've been the perfect night to snap some photos, if only my camera wasn't in the shop getting repaired and (oh yea!) I wasn't busy preparing myself for some demon hunting.

Things were going to go down soon.

My friends and I were about to go into battle. Who knows what'll happen?

I step away from the window and etch closer to my bed. I zip up my backpack, ensuring that none of the contents wouldn't fall out nor be exposed to any peering eyes. The contents inside would surely cause a stir if anyone had spotted them. If anything, we'd be put in jail for a potential terrorist attack. I mean, what would a normal person think if they saw a bunch of teenagers carrying enough artillery to take down an entire mob? They would definitely not guess a demon hunt. And, if we told any normal person the truth, I think the only thing we'd be worrying about is whether we'll all be neighbors in the insane asylum.

But, to explain what was inside my backpack, I carried two handguns and enough ammunition to survive a zombie apocalypse. Plus, I have enough knives to open up my own restaurant, and that's not counting the pair I have stashed in each of my front pockets.

I could say that my friends have about the same amount of weapons as I do, more or less. The boys may have more guns... you know, a guy thing (the little gamers in them must be jumping with joy). Their backpacks were just as stuffed as mine was.

Fortunately, in our case, our attire was in our favor. To go along with our full backpacks, we all wore similar attire. Dark jeans, sneakers or hiking boots, plain shirt, and a coat. We all looked like we were going to go on a week-long camping trip.

Maybe we can use that story as our cover.

But, we intend on going to Chinatown without a hitch. The less people we run into the better.

Things have to go according to plan.

So far, I, somehow, managed to seek in all of these weapons into my room without anyone noticing. I just hope Mary isn't planning on doing her monthly deep-cleaning in the artillery room anytime soon. That could be a problem.

"Hey, maybe if we pull this off, we should all join the military," Edward comments as he zips up the pouch on his bag.

"There's a big "if" there, Ed," Raina points out. She sat on the cushioned chair that was in front of my vanity. Her backpack was neatly packed and positioned beside her.
