Finally, the day has arrived. It's Friday, which means that tonight is the dance. This night can either be just a normal night with me and my friends, or it can be the night which my entire life will change, for better or for worse. After exiting the vehicle, I walk up to the front of the manor and push open the front door. Without even properly settled in my own home, I was ambushed by the four musketeers. Mary, Brad, Finnick, and Tom stood in front of me, and Mary was holding a rather large box in her arms. Before I could muffle a word, Mary, clearly in an excited mood, shoves the box against me.

"Open it, Miss C.L." Finnick says, bearing his usual pearly white smile.

"Yes please do," Mary adds. Hesitant, I take the box from her and sit myself down on a near-by chair. I look at the box, which was a rectangular plain white box decorated with a large blue bow on top, and back at everyone else, who were practically eyeing me down and waiting for me to do as the commanded. With that, I open the box, remove all the tissue paper inside, and look inside, only to find the most beautiful dress I've ever laid eyes on.

"Do you like it C.L.? Sebastian and I went all over the city to find a dress for you." Mary states. She eagerly waits for a reaction from me, hoping I would be pleased with her choice of fashion.

I pull the dress out from the box in order to get a better look at it. The dress itself was a navy blue lace dress with the lace continuing down its long sleeves and stops just above my knees. Though it wasn't harsh, there were also some hints of sequence scattered about the dress, giving it a sparkling factor. Though a short dress like this wasn't ideal for the dance I was attending, I was never one to follow a crowd. This dress was perfect.

I couldn't hold back the small smirk that crept on my face. After getting a good look at the dress, I look back at everyone else. "Thank you, Mary and Sebastian. It's beautiful."

"I'm so glad you love the dress, Miss C.L." Mary replies. Then, she takes my hand and drags me, with the dress in my arms, away from the men. "Come on C.L.; let's get you ready for the dance. This is going to be so much fun!"

"I bet." I smile, though on the inside I was freaking out. Never in my entire life have I ever had a 'makeover'; I was never a girly-girl, so this was going to be an interesting (and terrifying) experience. I could already tell how excited Mary was to do a makeover with me; she's been begging me to do one with her ever since I was twelve. After dragging me throughout the manor, she practically crashes through the door, sets my dress on my bed, and throws me on the chair next to my vanity. On the vanity, I see a mountain-full of makeup products, hair styling tools, and hair products were all laid out on the surface.

"Ok C.L. let's make you more beautiful than you already are."

"Yaaay..." I say, with a hint of fear in my voice.

With that, Mary turns my chair around, in order for me not to see what she was doing, and starts dolling me up for the dance. After an hour or two of hair tugging and makeup applying, Mary turns the chair around and I was finally able to see myself. My eyes widen ; I practically look like a porcelain doll. My hair was straight, like always, but had a hint of volume in it. As for my makeup, my lips were slightly tinted red, coral blush, and neutral-tone smoky eye make-up.

Mary rests her head on my shoulders and asks, "Do you like it, C.L.?"

I nod, "Yes, Mary; I absolutely do. You did a wonderful job. I didn't even know you were so great at this."

She smiles. "Well, I do know a thing or two about cosmetics, but I didn't need to do much. You were already so beautiful." I chuckle. "Now, let me help you put on your dress, C.L."
