~Bell's POV~
I continue running through the alleyway, following the unique melody and man ahead of me. I knew it was wrong for me to leave C.L. all by herself, but I was too drawn by curiosity to even think about going back. It was in my blood. I always longed for an adventure, and if I was ever given the chance, I would take the first step without hesitation. Then, what seemed like a matter of seconds, I stop in my tracks when I stumble upon a small store tucked away in the depths of the alleyway. If I knew I would've been going to be in Diagon Alley, I would've come more prepared. But, unfortunately, the wizarding world wasn't real. Displayed in the front window of the small building, dolls were sitting, side-by-side, on top of a wooden shelf.
I look through the window and stare at the dolls in front of me. These dolls looked so life-like. There porcelain, milky white skin free of any imperfection. Each of the dolls luxurious locks ranged from fiery red to midnight black. And, their eyes. They were like gems shining against the moon's light. They were absolutely mesmerizing. As I stood there, staring at the array of porcelain dolls, an idea sparked in my mind.
"I've got it. Oh, this is absolutely brilliant. I should get C.L. a doll. A doll resembling her. Or better yet, two dolls resembling her parents. This would be the best birthday present," I told myself.
I didn't waste any time walking through the front door and looking through each display of dolls inside the store. I inspect each and every doll in display, trying to find the exact doll that strikingly look like C.L. or her parents. But, I suppose trying to find an exact replica to C.L. would be harder than it seems. I stop in my tracks once I hear rustling in the distance. Who else could possibly be here? Then, I hear the same exact melody that brought me to this building. With that, I twist my body around only to face a man behind the counter. This strange man was definitely a ginger, especially under his top hat, not to mention his striking lavender irises. With his unique blue tailcoat and blue and pink eyeshadow, he could be considered a real-life doll.
"Oh, hello. I didn't see you there. Um, do you mind helping me find a doll for my friend? I think she would really love one," I ask.
"Welcome." Was all he said. He simply stood there looking at me, much to my discomfort.
"Oh my apologize. My name is Isabella Montgomery." I walk up to the stranger and extend my hand out to him, but he didn't return the gesture. Then, I slowly take back my own hand. Well, this was definitely an awkward situation.
"What a beautiful name you have," he states. His voice was so monotone that I couldn't detect what he was feeling. He was like an actual still-doll.
"Oh, thank you."
"As you see, I have many dolls to choose from."
"Well I'm trying to find one for my friend as a birthday present."
"I see, a birthday present. Well, there are many things for sale. I'll give you anyone you like."
"Thank you, mister," I say. A bright smile displayed on my face.
"Isabella Montgomery. You are very beautiful, and I would love to keep that. I must make you into a doll for your friend."
"I never would've thought of having a doll look like me. I think C.L. would absolutely love it!!" I squeal.
"Ci...el... Ciel Phantomhive....."
"You know C.L. that is wonderful. I should've brought her with me but that would've ruined the surprise."
