After what had just happened, there was no way my friends and I were going to stay at the academy any longer. Things were already getting seriously dangerous. So, I had to bring them to the only place I knew we'd be safe, my home. We ditched our classes, and as a group, we walked the duration of the way back to my manor.

We made it home alive to say the least. Don't know why I'm starting to count the littlest of things as a huge accomplishment. I guess the life-or-death situation is really starting to get to me. I really hate being this paranoid.

I didn't want to waste any more time cruising through my home in fear that even in the sanctuary of my beloved manor something bad would still happen, so after reaching the front yard of my home, I race through the driveway and practically slam my body against the front door as I reach for the doorknob. I unlock the door and push open the colossal door until I was inside.

My friends followed right behind me.

As I enter my home, I yell out, "Sebastian!!"

I needed his help more than ever. Things had already gotten heated with Alois, and I can only imagine what will happen once the real fight begins.

I call out, "Sebastian," yet again.

Finally, Andrew, who was the last in line, enters my home, ensuring that all my closest friends were safe and away from harm. He closes the door behind him once we were all standing inside the manor.

"Sebastian, get over here now!" I command.

"Catherine, what's wrong?" he says all of a sudden.

I yelp and turn to my side only to find Sebastian standing right beside me. It's really annoying when he pops up beside me. Who's to say I won't punch him in the face the next time he does that. I suppose that's the con of dating a demon.

"You know I really hate when you do that!"

"Well, you sounded scared. I had to check that you were alright," he explains. "Now, tell me what's wrong."

"They know about Alois and Claude." I point over to my friends to further explain who 'they' were. "They know about the monsters those two really are."

"How did they find out?"

"I told them."

"Why would you tell them?"

"Because they're my friends," I argue. "They already knew something was going on and I couldn't keep the secret for much longer. They deserved to know the truth because their lives were on the line too."

He sent me a stern gaze.

"You can be mad at me all you like, but you and I both know I did the right thing in telling them the truth."

"Look, I'm not upset, but you're only putting your friends in more danger, Catherine. I thought you wanted to keep them safe."

"They were already in serious danger when they were kept in the dark about all of this. At least now, they can protect themselves from demons like Alois and Claude."

"Who's to say Alois won't find out?"

"He already did," Bell intervenes.

"What?!" Sebastian shouts. He glances at Bell before turning back towards me. "Does anybody else know?"

"Well, probably, Claude knows now," I say. "His little messenger most likely already told him everything."
