Your POV

@laurenjauregui: so, what homework is it? Please don't say it's history, because I was never good at that aha

So, she actually wanted to help? I was pretty surprised; I didn't really expect her to notice my tweet, let alone actually agree with it. I guess I had to reply. Here goes nothing.

@Y/T/N: I didn't actually expect you to respond, but I guess, thanks? It's maths. I don't like history either lol

She replied almost immediately, confusing me even more.

@laurenjauregui: well, I did! And thank god. I don't really mind math. (Without the s by the way)

I smiled at her response, finding it amusing that she thought everyone in the world called it 'Math'. I was from England, and over here, we called it 'Maths'. As I was writing up my response, she sent another message.

@laurenjauregui: by the way, aren't you going to follow me? I'm feeling slightly offended XD

A laugh escaped my mouth, taking me by surprise. I don't know. I guess her use of 'XD' was pretty humouring. She didn't seem like the type to use emoticons like that. However, I did follow her because it was pretty rude to ask her for help and not follow her.

@Y/T/N: sorry, I followed you. Happy now?? Lol and I'm from England, where we call it 'maths' like normal people. Sorry to disappoint, love.

As I waited for her reply, I grabbed my maths book and pencil, looking at the terrorising question again. I really needed to do this.

@laurenjauregui: oh, sorry lmao I didn't know. And that's pretty cool. England huh?

As much as I wanted to make conversation with her, which I was pretty shocked that she wanted to do the same, I needed to tell her to help me. That is what I asked her for, in a non harsh way.

@Y/T/N: before we get into another conversation, please can you help me with my homework? I wasn't kidding about that lol

@laurenjauregui: yeah, sorry lol. Anyway, go ahead. What's the question, nugget?

Okay, I had no idea why she called me 'nugget' at the time, but now I know that she calls that everyone. I wasn't aware of this at the time, so I was pretty confused, but told her my homework anyway.

We spent the next ten minutes going through my algebra question. It would have been shorter, but she had to explain how she actually got the answer, which was difficult because we were practically texting and she wasn't here in person to explain. I told her that I didn't really care how to do it, but she insisted that I know. I eventually learnt that she was pretty stubborn and persuasive, which I wouldn't admit at the time, but it was pretty adorable.

@Y/T/N: thanks for the help, Lauren. I don't know how to repay you

Before she could respond, I added another message.

@Y/T/N: I guess I could start by actually listening to your music lol

@laurenjauregui: no problem, Y/N. And you don't like fifth harmony's music?
