After finding multiple trophies in Brian Wright's work locker, we have enough evidence to get a warrant.

Morgan busts down the door, I'm the first to go in. As I walk around the house I find a door blended in with the wallpaper.

"Guys!" I call the team over. Someone from SWAT rushes over with a crowbar, prying open the door. We all flood down the dark staircase with flashlights being our only source of light.

At the bottom of the staircase our flashlights move around the room, lighting it up enough for us to see six kids chained to brick walls. Four boys only two girls. My mouth drops and I holstered my gun, hoping not to scare the kids. I hit a button on my radio.

"We need medical!" I stare at the poor children.

"We're going to get you out of here safely, okay?"

People go in and out of the room, two kids are released from their chains and brought up out of their imprisonment. Spencer helps the SWAT team by holding two flashlights, helping to guide them and safely recover the children.

I hear two gun shots, which echo throughout the room. The kids start crying out, fear filling them. I feel a force shove me to the ground.

"Man down! Is anyone hit?" I hear someone call out.

I loudly groaned in pain, my head throbs, my vision goes out slowly, then all at once.

|Spencer|

After hearing gunshots I quickly pull out my gun and hold it in my right hand, and my flashlight in my left.

I shine it around the room, Brian Wright lays on the ground in a puddle of his own blood, and Marina laid feet from him. I quickly holstered my gun and run to her. I drop to my knees and inspect her. There're two bullet marks on her vest, she must've fallen back and hit her head.

I grip the talk button on the walkie attached to my vest.

"Brian Wright has been shot. We need medical, Agent Rose is unconscious." I let Marina be, knowing she'll be okay, and focus on the kids who have just witnessed murder.

All at once people started coming down to help. Marina is put on a stretcher and taken out of the home, of course I follow her.

"Marina, can you hear me?" I gently shake her hoping she will come to. I hate seeing her on a stretcher with an oxygen mask over her face. Although I'm incredibly happy she hasn't been shot.

I sit next to Marina in the back of the ambulance. The paramedics believe she has a concussion, which would be worse case scenario. I watch as her eyes slowly flutter open.

"Spencer?" I smile widely at her.

"Hey, how're you feeling?" She lifts her hand and gently rests it under my chin.

"My head hurts." She looks over to her left at one of the paramedics. A young, fit, male, that and Marina being high on pain killers made for a fun combo. I know she can't help herself.

"Who're you?" He smiles at me and focuses back to her.

"I'm Will, how are you feeling? Are you in any sort of pain?" She smiles at him.

"Will, that's a very nice name. Have you ever been told you look..." She doesn't finish her sentence, she just lays staring up at him.

I poke her shoulder hoping to get her attention. Her head rolls back to look at me.

"The kids are okay. Marcus is fine, you saved him." She smiles then falls asleep.

I sit in the waiting room at the hospital with the team. We're waiting for the results on Marina's MRI.

I feel as ease as I assumed it was just a concussion. Although I wish she hadn't been hurt at all.

"Marina is tough, she might be tougher than me." Derek jokes

"You might be right about that marshmallow." Garcia grabs his muscular arm.

"Who's here for Ms. Rose?" We all stand up. "I can send two at a time."

"Reid, why don't you go see her first." Hotch suggests. I nod and follow the doctor.

"So is it just a concussion?" We walk down the wide, dull hallways.

"Yes and no. She does have a concussion, but she is very lucky she didn't do more damage. She's suffering from head trauma right now and will show signs. Meaning-" I cut him off.

"I know confusion, depression, dizziness, headaches, memory loss, sensitivity to light and or noise, trouble sleeping, trouble concentrating and remembering." I look back at the wide eyed doctor. He nods.

"It's very possible for her to experience those things. So just be aware." He opens her room door and I head in. I notice it's dim, the lights must have been making things worse.

She immediately smiles.

"Hey you." I immediately relax. Part of me was fearful she forgot me.

"Hey, how are you doing?" I sit next to her.

"I'm okay, I mean my head hurts and I honestly don't remember how I got here, but I'm okay."

"You were hurt in the field. What is the last thing you remember?" I watch as she squints and tries to think back.

"Emily and I were going to get lunch, I think, but I don't remember anything after that." I raised my eyebrows.

"Well, we're going to get your papers soon and head home. I'm going to go let someone else come see you." I kiss her and head back to the team. Garcia and Emily head back to her.

I sit back in my original seat and Hotch moves to sit across from me.

"How is she?" Everyone else listens in.

"She's in some pain, and the last thing she
remembers is going to lunch with Emily." He nods.

"Well let's get her medication and get her home."
