"Merry Christmas!" Spencer gently shakes me.
"No." He pulls the blanket off me.
"Fuck you." Without opening my eyes I pull the blanket back up to cover me.
"It's Christmas, you can't be mean, plus you have a bunch of presents waiting for you." I sit up and run my hands through my messy hair.
"What presents?" He picks up a pillow and tosses it at me. I catch it and throw it back.
"Rossi called this morning and said we had a bunch of presents, so I went by his place, dropped off the teams and brought back ours." He smiles widely.
"They didn't ask you to stay?" I push the blanket to the side and get out of bed.
"They understand why we didn't go." I forgot they know about the car accident.
I quickly brush my teeth since Spencer stands with me in the bathroom rushing me.
"Hurry I have something waiting for you downstairs." I gave him a suspicious look, and rinse out my mouth.
"We said no presents." I frown.
"Just one, it's small." He holds up his hands in defense.
"What time is it?" He quickly glances at his watch.
"It's past one, I let you sleep in, now c'mon." He takes my hand and we rush down the stairs.
"First, coffee?" I nod, and he hands me a mug. I smile at the mound of whipped cream on top.
"You're cute." I momentarily put my mug down to hug him.
"Yeah, yeah, here's your gift from me." He holds out a velvet rectangle box with one hand, and his mug in the other.
"Spencer!" He leads me to the couch.
"You said it was small!"
"Well.. I'm not wrong it is physically small... Hey, if you don't want it you can return it." He sets down his mug and opens the box revealing a thin silver chain necklace with tiny heart.
"This is so perfect, and cute, did you pick this?" I take the necklace out of the box and put it on.
"What? You don't think I can handle picking jewelry for you?" I look at him waiting for the real answer.
"Emily helped..." I tightly hug him.
"Thank you, babe."
"So... it's a keeper?" He squints waiting for my answer.
"Of course." I hold the little heart between my thumb and index finger.
"I maybe have another gift for you... You have to use this thought." He hands me a blindfold.
"Ew, no, I don't trust you." He laughs, and takes the mug from my hands before putting on the blindfold for me.
"Okay, so it's in the guest room." He holds my hands and stands me up.
"If you got a dog I'm going to be pissed." I take small steps as he leads me.
"Don't worry, just keep walking."
"Alright, stop." I stand in front of what I assume is the guest room. I hear him open the door, then he pulls my hand, guiding me into the room.
I heard a kid giggle making me furrow my brows.
"Did you get us kid?"
"Take off the blindfold." I slowly slip it up above my forehead and my eyes widen at the sight of my family.
