|Spencer's POV|
I made promises yesterday even I'm not sure I can keep, but they seemed to help my relationship with Marina so I'll figure it out.
We're spending Halloween at Disneyland with Marina's family. I'm grateful that they all don't seem to hate me, though her dad has let me know multiple times I don't have room for any more mistakes. He doesn't even know the half of it.
"What's up?" I ask Marshall as he rushes towards me.
"Mom- uh, sorry, Marina wanted to know if you need sunscreen." My eyes slightly widen at his slip up. Is that how he sees her?
"You're burning a bit, babe." Marina pats her shoulder as she walks over. I watch Marshall nervously look up at her, as if she heard what he called her.
She slightly moves my shirt off my shoulder and quickly sprays me with an awful cold, sticky feeling. I scrunch up my face.
"You're worse than Bo." She laughs at me and points to our youngest nephew getting sprayed down while loudly complaining about it.
I stand up and hold Marina's hand. She seems surprised but doesn't say anything about it.
"Oh Marina, you should have a Disney themed wedding!" I smile as Marina rolls her eyes at her mom's wedding comment.
I grab her and and pull her close to me.
"I just realized something." I glance at her family to make sure they're not paying attention to us.
"What?"
"They don't know we're married." She frowns.
"I know... Should I just tell them?" She says quietly to me.
"Or we can just go along with it. We never did have a real wedding. Don't you want that?" She bites her lip as she thinks.
|Marina's POV|
I don't know what I want. A wedding sounds stressful, plus we have a baby on the way. This wedding pretty much needs to be done now, or after the baby is born.
"We could always just skip the ceremony part and have a reception?" I look up at him then shake my head.
"I don't want to talk about this right now, there's a lot of planning and things we need to figure out." I walk to Marshall's side.
"So where to birthday boy?" He smiles up at me.
My parents leave the park early, and eventually Marshall is guiding us around the park and we all happily follow.
"You guys managed to find a really bright kid, you know that?" Anthony lazily rests his arm on my shoulder.
"I know." I smile at him. I know my life would be so different without Marshall. I wouldn't be back with Spencer, I certainly wouldn't be pregnant, and I probably wouldn't feel as happy as I do.
"Tower of Terror!" Marshall calls out, He and Anthony lead the pack.
"Are you going on?" Spencer gently bumps into me.
"No, no way." I've always hated the ride.
"I'll wait with you."
Once we get to the ride, Spencer, Avery, Bo, Ella and I sit on a bed in the shade while everyone else gets in line.
Ella reaches for me and Avery sets her on my lap.
"Jason and I were talking about this, and I've been meaning to mention it to you guys, if you ever want to send Marshall out he can stay with us. I think it would be really nice for him to visit us, especially in the summer when the kids are completely free." I don't have to look at Spencer to know he'll agree.
