Demi was led away from the body once the police had arrived, she was a little emotional with seeing the body but she wiped her eyes before making her way back over to Willa and the boys lifting Kean up in her arms when he reached out for her, she held him against her letting him sob into her shoulder. She rubbed his back gently shushing him, it had been a good day up until now. He seemed to have had a good day at Kindergarten and happy to spend some time with his mother and Aunty Willa and Carter but now this had come up it had just turned everything upside down.

"Shhh, it will be okay." Demi assured him.

"Is the man okay?" He questioned looking up at her, Demi sighed shaking her head gently but kissed his head gently. He was her world.

"No sweetie but everything will be okay, let's go eat out somewhere and you can have a big slice of cake when we get home." Kean laid his head down on her shoulder Demi kissing his hair giving Willa a thankful smile when she laid her hand on her back.

"Actually miss could you go to the station for questioning, you're not under arrest we just need a statement." A officer questioned as he wondered over.

"Sure now?" She questioned back the officer nodding his head, Demi turned back to Willa as she set Kean back down on the floor who had calmed down now sucking his thumb gently, it was a bad habit of his. "Go take Kean out for dinner and I'll join you in a bit, I'll pay you back."

"Don't worry about it, come on Kean." Willa encouraged taking his hand in her spare which didn't have hold of Carter's hand. Demi sighed as she made her way back home climbing in her car. She didn't have much to tell the police to help with the case but she would try and do anything she could to ensure the man had his justice.

"I was told to come down and make a statement about a body my son found at the park?" Demi questioned the man behind the counter who gave her a warm smile ensuring her that everything would be okay. She wasn't so sure at the moment, she couldn't get the image out of her head. She wanted to comfort Kean but she knew Willa would do enough of that for her.

"We won't keep you for long, please take a seat." He ordered softly Demi smiling back as she took a seat down in the chairs. She hadn't been in the police station a lot, she hadn't ever had a reason butt his reason seemed to be making up for the time she hadn't been here. It wasn't too much longer when her name was called out.

"Miss Lovato." Her eyes wondered up to a young man who only looked to be early twenties maybe pushing to twenty five. He had short raven hair and the most gorgeous eyes. It had been a while since she had come across such a handsome man. She got up from her seat wondering over to him a smile coming along his lips too, he had a gorgeous smile to. He lead her through the corridors before they found themselves in a room where they both took a seat at the table the officer having a pad and a pen in his hands ready to write down.

"I'm officer Jonas." He greeted.

"Nice to meet you, how long do you think this will take?" Demi questioned.

"Not overly long, I was told your son found the body is that right?" Joe questioned back Demi nodding her head gently taking in a deep breath before beginning to explain what happened just twenty minutes ago at the park.

"My son and my best friend's boy were playing fetch when Carter threw the ball too far and it landed in the bushes behind my son. I allowed Kean to go fetch it but he was taking too long, I was about to go and find him when he came back crying. He had found the body but he thought he was just sleeping. I went in and found the body and that's all that happened. I'm sorry I can't be more help." Demi explained watching as his right hand jotted it all down.

"It's not a problem, we'll still find out who did this." Joe assured her giving her another smile.
