"Does Joe have a little brother?" Demi whispered to Emily who nodded her head sighing slightly sitting Joe on the couch switching the cartoons. He begun to watch it like a little kid would, his legs crossed on the couch leant forward as if he was too focused on the show to pay attention to anyone. They'll admit it was so hard for them to see knowing that all this was caused because of his childhood and nothing else. Demi didn't know what had happened but she didn't know if she wanted to, she just wanted to help him get better. Emily dragged Demi into the kitchen Elliot still in her arms but he was happy to be there.

"He is three years younger than Joe, they got separated into separate care homes when their parents were found guilty of what they did to their sons." Emily explained but she didn't want to tell Demi everything that had happened, it wasn't her job to it was Joe's but at the moment even he didn't remember so it could be a while until she knew. Unless another personality told her.

"And they don't know one another?" Emily shook her head.

"Joe tried a couple of years ago to find contact but we had no lead what so ever even with being a police officer." Emily explained bouncing Elliot as he became fussy.

"Nothing is broken." They heard a voice seeing Joe stood in the doorway, he looked himself but he knew by now what had happened when he couldn't remember.

"A new personality came." Joe sighed wondering over letting Demi take hold of her hand.

"Five year old boy called Joey, he is like a mini you. He thought Elliot was Nick." Joe hadn't thought about his little brother in a while, he hadn't had a reason to.

"At least he doesn't seem angry." Joe breathed.

"Can you feel or hear anything before you change?" Joe hesitated but nodded his head.

"I could hear voices, I heard the name Joey over and over again which I guess is my warning that he's going to come say hello. I tried to stop it from happening but I couldn't" Joe confessed.

"I wouldn't try to stop them Joe, not until Harvey has some advice for us. We're going to start writing down whenever a alter comes and then we'll see how often they do."

"I think that's a good idea, I hope I don't have too many. I do want to somewhat remember my day, I don't want to wake up with a tattoo or something."

"We'll keep an eye on you until we have some advice." Emily assured him.

Joe wondered over to the door with Demi letting go of her hand as she exited the house but turned to him as he stood in the doorway. She somehow didn't want to leave him when she knew how he was at the moment but Emily was around and she could trust her to make sure Joe was as comfortable as he could be.

"I'll come with you tomorrow to pick Kean up if you want?" Joe suggested.

"I think he would like that, then we could tell him about us and the baby." Demi stated, she knew Kean wanted to get closer to Joe because he's one of the only men around him. It was important for him to have a man to look up to because his dad wasn't around.

"We'll go out for lunch then." Joe demanded softly leaning down kissing her gently, Demi kissed him back before they both pulled away from one another.

"Bye Joe." Demi smiled heading back down the path heading towards Kean's school. Joe smiled too shutting the door heading back into the living room sitting down next to Emily.

"You know I kinda liked Joey, he was cute." Emily stated.

"Well hopefully if any of them have to come out more than others it will be him cause I don't want to hurt anyone and that's what Matt seems to want to do."

"Maybe there's something more to Matt, we'll have to see what Harvey says tomorrow." She kissed his cheek gently taking hold of his hand. It scared her to know what Joe had been through in his past but he didn't even know.
