"And you're not happy about it?" Demi guessed not helping but to look down at the ground. She never thought she was going to have a baby with a man she didn't even love. She loved Liam more than anything and he should be here to look after his son but she knew he'd be looking after him, looking over him every day.

"I guess not," Joe mumbled. "Well it's not that, it's just I've only just become a dad to a little boy and I love him so much but he was born as a mistake when I got my best friend pregnant. I said I'd never go through that again and now it's happening all over again and I don't want to do wrong by any of my children." He admitted Demi sighing.

"I can understand that, I um have a hospital appointment at three if you want to come down? If you don't want to be around then I can do this by myself." Demi answered Joe shaking his head gently as he stood up leaning against the table.

"No I'll be there, I'm not the kinda guy to do something like that. I'll meet you outside the maternity section at two forty five." Joe replied Demi nodding her head in agreement leaving the room not really wanting to be with him any longer. It could have been better but she was getting excited about her hospital appointment. Whether Joe would actually turn up when he was supposed to she didn't know. She prayed he would because she honestly didn't know whether she was able to do this again alone even though she told Joe she could.

"He doesn't sound like a very decent guy." Colton stated as he set a glass of water down in front of Demi passing Willa a coffee before he sat down. Demi took her glass taking a sip before she set it down on the coffee table again. It wasn't worth her going home when she was due at the hospital in about an hour, she spent some time with them in the mall with Carter. Already looking at baby belongings but she had a bunch of stuff already from when Kean was younger. He had red stuff so if she had a little girl it wouldn't be too boyish for he .

"He's a decent guy, I can see where he was coming from. When he's only just become a parent and to go through that again with another woman must be hard." Demi defended Joe, not that she though she should. He was the father of her baby, he had to be involved even if he was just paying child support, she couldn't raise a baby by herself with so little money.

"I still can't believe you even slept with him, you're not that kinda person." Willa stated Demi rolling her eyes slightly laying a hand down on her unformed bump.

"No matter what is going on I love my baby, he or she is already a huge part of my life. I have faith in Joe that he'll come and see the first appointment." Demi decided.

"I hope he does too otherwise he'll have me to answer to." Colton stated Demi giggling slightly leaning her head on his shoulder.

"We'll collect Kean from school don't worry." Demi couldn't help but be nervous about what was coming up, she hoped her baby would be okay.

Demi stood outside the maternity part of the hospital waiting for Joe to arrive. She had come a little earlier in case he was early but it was getting pretty close and she was starting to lose hope that he would come. They were there in plenty of time for the appointment but she was still worried. She didn't know the guy and whether he was just a late guy in general but if he weren't to show up she couldn't put herself through that constantly thinking he was going to turn up and he wouldn't She just kept thinking about when their son or daughter was older and he promised him or her that he would come over this weekend to spend some time with them but he wouldn't. She knew she was just over thinking it. Demi pulled her phone out her jacket pocket looking at the time seeing that it was eleven minutes to three, he was nearly five minutes late. She sighed looking down towards the ground laying a hand on her stomach again.

"We don't need him little one." She whispered before entering the hospital.
