Joe and Demi rested while tests were done on their son and daughter, it kept them away from the fears that their twins didn't cry when they were delivered. Demi slept well, she couldn't remember the last time she slept that well but she knew that it was because she had Joe's strong arms around her. She woke up first about three hours later her eyes opening to land on Joe who was still fast asleep. She smiled pecking his lips gently before admiring him as he slept, she hadn't done it in a while, it was something she did regularly when he was still at home, she loved how peaceful he looked when he was stressing out when he was awake.

"Why are you watching me?" Joe questioned making her jump slightly smacking his chest, he laughed opening his eyes kissing her nose gently.

"Sorry, did I wake you." Joe yawned shaking his head.

"The bed isn't completely comfortable," Joe answered squeezing her gently but not hard enough to hurt her. "I missed this."

"I did too." Demi smiled laying her head down on his chest again as she listened to the steady beating of his heart, it was soothing as she thought about her babies. How they were doing. She knew babies survived at thirty weeks but she was concerned that her two didn't cry.

"They'll be okay." Joe assured her knowing what she was thinking about.

"I hope so." Demi answered kissing his chest as it was all she could get to.

Joe and Demi spent a little more time together until Susan came back into the room. Alone. It did worry them that their babies weren't doing well and that they would need a helping hand on starting their life, Demi would only blame herself for all the stress she put on them early on in the pregnancy. She knew she couldn't help it but she would still somehow believe that she could .

"Are they okay?" Demi inquired the two of them now sat up having a firm grip on one another's hands.

"As you know at thirty weeks there are some complications that could come along. Your little girl is bigger than her brother but still small at nearly three pounds, your son is only two pounds five ounces. They both weren't breathing when they were delivered and need help to do so, they also can't regulate their own body temperatures which is why we would like to them to stay here until they are bigger, can breathe by their selves and can regulate their body temperature." Susan explained.

"But you think they will survive?" Joe questioned.

"They have a pretty good chance, we have a good children's hospital. Complications happen but in this day and age we have discovered a lot to help babies like yours." She answered.

"Can we see them?" Demi questioned eager to see her son and daughter.

"Of course, I'll go grab a wheelchair for you. Have you had some rest?" Demi nodded her head.

"We both have, it should be the middle of the night in England." Demi answered as Joe got up from the bed, he felt exhausted from flying but he wanted to meet his son and daughter for the first time. Demi smiled as Joe lifted her in his arms kissing her head before sitting her down in the wheel chair. Joe pushed her along following Susan.

"Have you thought about any names yet?" She asked.

"I think we both have some in mind but we haven't spoken about it, we haven't really had chance." Demi replied.

"There's plenty of time to think about their names," Susan approved leading them into a room where they were made to sanitise their hands before entering. "They are just over here." Susan led them both over Joe able to see them both straight away but Demi had to have assistance to stand up before her eyes land on her twins.

They both had tears in their eyes as they saw their daughter and son for the first time.
