Friday evening was so relaxing and calm

Friday evening was so relaxing and calm. No Michael or Kevin to worry about. I had all evening for myself. I plugged on the headphones on to the iPod and played my favourite song, 'A thousand years'. I turned it up to the full volume and sang from the bottom of my heart. The melody filling my ears, pulled me into another land. A land filled with love! But then I thought, does it really exist?

Heart beats fast

Colours and promises

How to be brave

How can I love when I'm afraid

I spun around and danced. I stopped when I saw a shadow out in the balcony through the glass door. I rubbed my eyes and looked again. There wasn't anybody. My mind has developed this wonderful supernatural power of creating things that do not exist and scare the shit out of me.

I heaved and went back to my singing. I glanced at the pictures Sam had pasted on the wall across the bed. It was a collection of pictures of random things. All of them captured in the perfect moment which seemed to tell a story of it's own. A picture of a bird flapping its wings and taking off from the surface of the water; Another one of the sun setting behind the city buildings with its orange rays spreading wide. I smiled as I glanced at each one of the pictures. I closed my eyes as the music built up inside me. I began singing again.

I have died everyday waiting for you

Darling don't be afraid

I have loved you

For a thousand ye- Aah!

I screamed when I turned and saw a figure lying on the bed, smirking.

Michael.

"How the hell did you get in here?" I walked towards the room door and checked that it was still locked.

"You should check that door too." He pointed to the balcony door.

Was he that creepy figure I witnessed a few minutes back?

"Are you stalking on me?" I raised my eyebrows.

"I'm just a secret admirer." He winked and I rolled my eyes.

"Don't you know there is a thing called privacy. And you could have used the stairs like a normal person and not jump from the balcony like a creep trying to kidnap me!" I yelled.

"I don't need to kidnap you to keep you by my side. Eventually you'll fall for my charming personality and amazing good looks so hard, that you can't stay away from me." He smirked.

"We're fighting here, and you're talking about me falling for you?" I raised my eyebrows and crossed my arms across my chest.

"Doesn't all love begin with a fight?" He winked.
