Michael's POV:They say that best friends are always best friends and that you would never forget special things about them no matter what. Even though Kevin was more of my enemy now, I am glad that I still remembered a few things about him. Otherwise I wouldn't have been able to find him at the Hoppin bar at seven in the evening.
This had been a ritual between us ever since we first became friends. Every friday evening, we would meet up at this place to have one hell of a time. But after the fight, I never dared to come here since everything reminded me of Emma and also that I didn't want to see Kevin's face more than I already had to.
But seemed like he hadn't let go of the tradition yet. For now I found him in a corner table with a bunch of people, away from the dancing crowd. My fists clenched and I tried to control my anger as I approached the table.
He still hadn't noticed me for if he had, he would have not laughed as hard as he did now. I just wanted to punch him square on the jaw so that all his teeth would shatter and fall off. But no, I had to control it all in. Control it till I was face to face with him and then I could just let it all out.
And thats what I did the moment I was in front of him. My fist made contact with his jaw, making his head throw back. His eyes widened in shock and he clutched the place I had hit him in. The guys and girls around the table gasped and got up from their respective seats.
Before he could contemplate what was going on, I punched him again. This time it landed on the side of his face, making him lose his balance and fall down to the floor along with the chair.
"What the hell man!" He shouted as he placed his hand on the chair to lift himself off. Blood dripped down from his teeth and it made me feel sad that it didn't actually make his teeth fall off from his swollen gums.
"Michael?!" He choked out like he hadn't expected me.
"Yeah you dumbass! Who else did you think it was?" I retreated my hand back to blow another punch to his already ugly face but he caught hold of my wrist.
