Sam's POV :

As soon as the bus stopped in front of the described lonely house on the road, I pushed open the door of the bus and jumped off it. I didn't mind if the rest of them got down or not. I threw the gate open and stormed off towards the front door.

"Sam, wait!" Daniel shouted as he ran upto me. I continued to walk without waiting for him. I stopped in front of the door and banged it fiercely. Daniel too came to a stop beside me.

"You could use the door bell like a normal human being." Daniel pressed the switch beside the door and smiled at me. I glared at him and turned my attention back to the door.

"Michael, open the damn door!!" I shouted at the top of my voice and banged the door even more furiously than before. The banging noise would have muffled my voice but I didn't care.

"Calm down Samantha." Daniel placed his hand over my shoulder. I shrugged it off and raised my eyebrows at him in annoyance.

"Are you seriously saying that to me now? That idiot couldn't even call me to explain what happened! At least you could have woken me up!" I shook my head at him in disappointment.

"You were exhausted after a tiresome night. I didn't want to disturb you. And I also spoke to Michael a few minutes back. He said that she was fine."

"Oh yeah? He had also texted me saying that she had fainted in the middle of the night out of nowhere!" I snapped at him. "Might as well add that he said that he was freaked out as hell and didn't know what to do." I drew air quotations with my fingers over the word 'freaked out' for emphasis.

"Sam." He sighed and opened his mouth again to speak but the sound of the door opening interrupted him.

Michael opened the door wide open and smiled at us. "Hey guys, you're here!"

"What the hell took you so long?" I snapped at him as I shoved his chest. "And where the hell is Catherine?" I pushed past him and walked inside.

"Woah, looks like you had a wonderful morning." Michael retorted sarcastically.

"Yeah, until you decided to ruin it!" I snapped at him. Yeah, I really did have a great morning when I woke up beside Daniel on that field. But all the magic flew out of the moment I heard the news from him.

"Sam calm down!" Michael tried to hug me but I moved back and pointed a finger at him. "Don't you dare!"

He opened his mouth to speak but Daniel placed his hand over his shoulder and shook his head. They both exchanged a knowing look. Michael sighed in defeat and lifted his hands up in surrender. The two of them sat down on the couch as I continued to glare at them. They looked around everywhere but me. Well, good for them! I didn't know what I would do if they spoke another word.

"Catherine!" I shouted and moved forward.

An old man, probably in his early 50s, walked out of a room and closed the door behind him. "Ssh! You're going to wake her up."
