Sam's POV:

"Looks like somebody is really happy to see me." The annoying voice that I had been waiting to hear for so long spoke. I lifted my head from the steering wheel and glared at him through the open window.

"What took you so long?"

"Hey, It has only been.. 58 minutes." He drawled as he looked into his black strap watch that clung around his thin wrist.

"What?! Just 58 minutes." I pushed open the car door, hitting him on the knee in the process and got out of it quickly. I pulled up his hand, ignoring his groan and looked into his watch. It was true that it was just about an hour since I had called him. I rechecked the time on my phone to find the same. "How the hell is it possible? I barely called you an hour ago whereas it took me 4 hours to drive through here."

"Well, what can you say? I am street smart." He grinned and walked over to the front of the car.

"Or maybe you just gave me a dump as a car." I followed behind him.

"Hey! Don't you dare talk ill of my darling or I'll leave you stranded here."

I rolled my eyes and crossed my arms against my chest. "Your darling already did that for you."

"That's because you have been a bad driver." He put his hand inside his jean pocket and automatically the car bonnet opened in a slow smooth manner. My jaw hit the ground. "How the hell did you do that? I burnt my fingers trying to open that thing and you just open it like that?"

"It's called talent." He winked and bent down to inspect the engine.

"Or in this case a trick in your pockets. What do you have in there?" I narrowed my eyes at him.
