Sorry for my absence last week. You could blame it on pratishtha1811 for her realistic fortune telling! 😜 Anyways I hope this chapter makes up for it!

And please do tell me the errors in this chapter cause it's highly unedited!

I would like to dedicate this week's chapter toMaddyJo2001 QueenRedDaniels firebirdwriter

Sam's POV:

How dare he do that to me? How dare he SAY that to me? He just left me like that to seek the irresistible Veronica? HOW DARE HE?

"Ugghh! Aaahhh!" I screamed like a lunatic, and stopped pacing the corridor. Screaming, or shouting would not help my case, but I couldn't keep myself calm either. The image of Daniel kissing Veronica kept replaying on my mind. Wait! Veronica kissed Daniel! Not the other way around. He wouldn't do that to me right? Right?

"But don't come blaming me when I find Veronica irresistible!"

"NOOOOO!!" I screamed, shaking my head, and wriggling my hair around like a mad person. How the hell did he get that into my brain? No, I am Samantha, and I don't let any man dominate my thoughts, especially insecure ones. Let me show him what happens when you challenge Samantha Roy.

"Daniel, you're in for a spectacular ride!" I smirked my way down the stairs, adding extra flair to my hips as I swayed them from side to side. Let's see how much he could resist that!

The music continued to blare, uninterrupted by all the commotion that happened up the stairs. Red, and pink lights spread through the disco ball. What are we? In the 70s?

I rolled my eyes, and marched through the dancing crowd. My heels clung against the dance floor. Suddenly I felt a hand grab my wrist, and pull me towards them. A drunk guy with a sloppy smile grinned at me. He was nice, but nothing too great like my Daniel.

He had white skin, was a bit on the lean side, and most of all, didn't have a dimple decorating his cheeks. Nope! Definitely not my Daniel. "Excuse me, can you let go of my hand?" I screamed against the loud music, and wriggled my hand out of his grip.

If he were to try something, I swear he would not see the next day. But thankfully he let go of my hand immediately. I turned to move around the crowd, but he blocked my way.

"What?" I barked, annoyed.

"Care for a dance?" He smirked.

"No thank you." I tried to walk past him, but he blocked my way again.

"Please? It's just one dance. I promise not to try anything on you."

"Look-" My eyes caught Daniel in the distant, sitting by a girl near the bar counter. I narrowed my eyes at him to see if there was any interaction between, and of course it was from her side. He looked rather disinterested with his head bent down.

As if sensing my gaze, he turned, and his eyes met mine. We stayed in contact while the brunette beside him continued to chatter, and touch his arm to get his attention. I scowled at her, but then smiled when I saw him flick her hand off of him, still with her eyes on me.
