Daniel's POV:
A hot, stinky breeze hit my face. No, it can't be. I didn't get out of the house to feel that. In fact, I hadn't even woken up. Then what the hell was that smell?
I scrunched my nose, and moved away a little from the source, hoping that it would go away, but the more I tried, the closer it got, and the heavier it stunk. I moved forcefully one last time, hoping I could get away from it, and indeed I did, but that involved falling off the bed as well. Great way to start the morning I say!
I groaned as a sharp pain shot up my spine. It took me a minute to finally hold myself up, and open my eyes. With the support on my arm on the edge of the bed, I managed to push myself up. My eyes fell on the snoring figure lying on the bed, with his spider legs, and arms spread across the whole bed, and his mouth wide open like an ugly fish dying with the lack of oxygen.
Wait! Was the stink actually from his mouth? If that was true, did he actually have his face close to mine? I grimaced in disgust at the prospect of what it might have looked like. God! Sam wouldn't let this go if she came to know of it. That's when I recognised the lack of Sam on the other side of Blake.
Frowning, I checked the bathroom only to find it empty. Where the hell could she have gone? The dark light seeping into the room from the balcony door only showed that it was too early to have the sun risen up completely.
I walked out of her room, and went into mine with the hopes of not finding her in there. I still hadn't hid my suspect board, and God knows what would happen if she finds out. My hand trembled as I turned the knob, and pushed the door open.
Everything seemed to be in place, just how I had left them. It should have been a relief, but what if she had seen it, and left the house without telling me. I quickly hid the board below the below, and rose up to my feet.
That's when I made out the shape of a body lying on my bed, dressed up in my grey shirt, camouflaging with my grey bed sheet. She was indeed difficult to find; both literally, and romantically.
But what was she doing, sleeping here? Just then an image of Blake's snoring face, zoomed next to mine came to my mind. No wonder she didn't want to sleep there! A smiled crept up on my face in relief at the disgusted expression on her face. I could only hope that she hadn't really noticed anything in my room in her tired state.
I wanted to let her rest, and leave the room, but then what kind of a boyfriend would that make me? Slowly, I kneeled on the bed, and crawled up till I hovered over her body. "BABY!!!" I screamed, and covered her body with mine, engulfing her into a tight hug.
Her body jolted up a bit, and she screamed; at least tried to, but my body muffled the effect of the noise. The first thing I noticed was the shrill high pitched note of the scream. Sam never screamed that way. Girlishness was never designated in her bones.
The second thing was the sharp, pungent smell; almost like beer was mixed up with deodorant. Frowning, I pulled away a little. My eyes widened, mirroring the eyes staring back at me.
The room fell silent before the two of us screamed, and pushed each other away. In a haze to get away from each other, the two of slid off the bed, and crashed to the ground with our legs tangled up with the bed sheet.
