Cath's POV :

I cut the call with a smile on my face. Was all that she said really the truth? I couldn't tell cause hearing that Michael had been the one who had come here on his own to make sure that I was okay and safe on my own was a bit hard to think about. Especially when he was still upset with me. Maybe he just works in strange ways like that. So why then did he have to tell me that he had come to get something that Sam had left?

"Uh.. she uh.. she wanted me to come pick up the uh.. spray cleaner! Yep she needs it immediately!" He had told me as soon as he realised that he had been staring at my face for five minutes at the doorway when I opened the door for him. I was previously scared on who it might have been since Sam had just left and Daniel couldn't be here.

He said that he would be back in a week and it has only been 3 days. There's no way he would be back soon. And I would have been disappointed to see Sam back since that would mean that she had given up on the search already. And that's not what I wanted for her.

I raised my eyebrows at him, confused as to know for what purpose did she need the glass cleaner in her hot pursuit. "Why?"

"Cause, cause the super hot shiny car that I provided her with had a teeny tiny smudge on the passenger side of the door and she wants to get it cleaned. You know how she can be! OCD!" He grinned but cleared his throat and then turned serious. "I mean she is annoying."

"Oooh kay." That didn't seem believable but I gave it to him anyway.

"Right thank you." He still stood there with the spray in his hand. "I.. uh.. I think she asked me to get her a cup of coffee or tea. Uh.. Which one takes longer to make?"

"Tea."

"How long?"

"Uh.. 15 mins?" I answered unsure.

"Great." There was the grin again that turned into a frown. "I mean get it done fast. I need to get there right away."

"But wouldn't she have left a long time ago?" I frowned, looking at the clock that hung right beside the door. It seemed like it had been quite a few hours already.

"Yeeeaaaahh.." He drawled slowly. "But she missed you and wanted to have some tea that you made."

She hated my tea or more like tea in general. She is actually a coffee addict but I decided to go along with him anyway. "Okay but how will she get it from me?"

"I'll drive it to her?"

"A four hour drive?"

"Yep."

I stared at him to see if he was bluffing but he seemed unusually serious. "She didn't really ask for it did she?"

He looked taken aback but then glared at me. "Look I don't find any other need to be here if that's what you're thinking. So if you are not going to 'trust' me even with this, let me just keep going. Good bye Catherine." He turned around and started to go back.
