As my god mother ran around the room, searching for bobby pins, I sighed. The butterflies in my stomach were doubling every second. I was going to be a Mendes. I would no longer be a Y/L/N. This was the biggest milestone in my life. I got no sleep last night (in which my mother freaked out over because I had circles under my eyes). I got no sleep because I was one; nervous and two; I had no Shawn next to me. It's 'against the rules' to sleep together before marriage. He hasn't seen me since dinner last night.
"Oh my gosh!" My best friend shrieked from behind me. I turned.
"Her hair isn't done. I can't find the bobby pins," My mom said annoyed.
"I came prepared," She handed my mom a pack of bobby pins. My mom smiled and walked over to finsh my hair. "Do you remember in eighth grade when we had a double wedding planned and our favorite bands were going to perform and there would be a bouncy house just for the fun?" She laughed sitting next to me. I smiled. "You beat me. You are getting married before me," She laughed again. I started to get anxious. I love Shawn. I wouldn't live without him. What if he doesn't feel the same? He could just decide he doesn't want this anymore. I love him to much not to have him.
Shawn's POV
I was so nervous. Thinking about Y/N walking down the ile makes me want to faint. She is just so beautiful. I fixed my tie yet again. I was trying to look perfect. My best man, Cameron, patted me on the back.
" Ready dude?" He asked.
"Ready as I will ever be," I smiled. I was about to owe my life to Y/N Y/L/N. And this would forever be the happiest day of my life.
