(That's what i image the girl as but you can think as you please)

I sighed as my little girl ran around the playground. Her four year old energy was to much for me these days. I looked down at my phone and got a text. I started to text my friend. She was going to get wedding rings with her fiance Nash. I was still single. With a kid. Alone. My baby daddy left to California as soon as he got the news. I looked up to see my daughter and some random guy pushing her. I got up cautiously. She was laughing. Happy. I smiled slightly. But still wondered who the heck was pushing my girl and why I wasn't there. I walked over.

"Who are you?" I asked. The guy turned to me. My daughter looked at me.

"Is she your sis-"

"Mommy you came to play!" I smiled at her. He bit his lip. But then he smiled brightly. His smile was beautiful.

"Would you like to play?" He asked. I laughed lightly.

"Yeah I would," I replied.

"What's your name?" He asked.

"Y/N. You?" I asked back.

"Shawn," we were both sitting on the benches now. My girl found a friend from day care and was playing with her. "She is a pretty kid."

"Yeah. She is," I said.

"She must get her looks from her mother," He said. He had a slight smirk plastered on his face. I laughed.

"You're kidding. But thank you," I smiled.

"Can I give you my number?" I was honestly shocked. No one has ever asked that.

"Here," I wrote it down and gave it to him. Then my daughter ran up.

"I'm tired,"She whined.

"I'll get you home darling," I said standing.

"Will we see Shawny again?" She asked.

"Yeah. We will," I smiled.

"You will. Bye girls," He said and walked away. And I never felt more happy.
