"How dare you?" I screamed.

"How dare me? You are the one who lied to me!" He yelled back.

"I never lied," I replied. He looked at me furiously. I knew he was getting the same look from me also. The room was heated. I was sweating. My chest heaving. My clenched fists. Everything in fast motion. The world was in this red glow.

"You told me that you didn't care about what I do!" He shouted.

"Until it took away everything we have Shawn!" I screamed. I felt useless. Like I was small. Being cornered in my own thoughts.

"Stop being so dramatic," he scoffed.

"Stop being so irresponsible you prick," I muttered. I looked at his shoes. I momentarily stared at the dirt plying in layers on his old boots.

"What did you say?" His voice doubled. I glanced up, flinching.

"What did you say?!"

I peeked around the corner of the hall. My fingers tugging at my pajamas to keep me from running over. Dad had mom pinned on the refrigerator.

But it wasn't dad. And it wasn't mom.

They were like predator and prey. They were both looking for blood though.  Both enraged with each other. Screaming. Both trying to have dominance.

"You heard me! You are useless to this family!"

I felt useless.

"You are useless! You just sit here taking care of a child!" He said child as if he was spitting in disgust. I gasped slightly. But the hopeless innocent was just a spectator in the hunt.

And in this hunt.

There was a predator. And a prey. And as much as they both fought to have predator.

One ended up being the prey.

Dad. Or this monster. Ripped mom from the fridge. You could see her heart ripping just as fast. And she went falling to the ground from his force faster.

The ecosystem fell apart. But angers system was just in place.

But in the end were really either predator or prey happy?

"You are irresponsible! You are so childish and I hate you!" I started to pound my fists into his chest.  Throwing my arms so wildly. They swerved like windmills. Pushing wind.

He pushed away. I was trembling. My whole body shaking as I stood. Predator. I stared at him. With only evil filling my glare.

He rushed over and grabbed my cheek lightly and stuck his lips to mine.

Stop

Stop

Don't watch Y/N.

I looked away.

But then a hunger brought me back.

Like I needed to watch my ecosystem fall apart.

Temptation made me poke my head around the corner again.

Stop Y/N.

I should've stopped and walked away. But temptation always makes you stay a moment too late.

I shoved him away.  And kept shoving.  Trying to get him as far away from me as I could. Until I shoved the roles to switch. And suddenly I was prey. And he hit me down.
