"Hi Y/N!" He popped into the room with yet another teddy bear. He looked over at the girl laying in the bed, pale and non moving as usual. He placed the teddy bear on the couch next to the rest and sat down in the same chair he had been. "It has been a full month now," Shawn bit his lip. Tears were already forming in his eyes. Stop it Shawn, Y/N hates seeing you sad. He scrunched his eyes shut. She isn't even up to see me. He thought. "I'm sorry Y/N," He said for the millionth time. "I'm sorry I was upset at my dad. I'm sorry I took it out on you. You didn't do any wrong. I'm sorry I yelled at you. I'm sorry I got too close. You must have been scared. You must have thought I would hurt you. I would've never hurt you. I love you. I'm sorry you crashed. I am I am I am. Baby I'm sorry. I didn't mean to. I didn't mean to text you after you left. I didn't mean it when I said you don't care about me and you are the worst. I'm sorry I caused your crash," He said shaking. As usual. This was his life now. He would come in every day. And say sorry. And hold her hand. Tell her how beautiful she was and how his day went. She always loved it when he talked about his day. She would smile and never look away from him when he did. Some days he just cried. A few he got mad. And he threw a fit and yelled 'why you Y/N! Why did you leave me!' He knew it wasn't her fault and it was his. But sometimes he wanted to pretend it wasn't. Like he was the victim. These days he had no hope. His mom and dad were divorcing and his mom was going to leave him with his dad and take Aaliyah. The only place he felt loved was where he sat with a half dead girl. His half dead girl. He liked to pretend she wasn't in a coma. Like they pretended they would be together forever. He pretended that she was just sleeping. And that they were in his room and she fell asleep during a movie night. Soon Shawn gained his composure. He smiled.
"Remember Coco. The girl that teased you. She cried today. Because today we had a assembly. About you. A whole hour assembly. About being safe while driving. And how people like you can teach everyone to be safe. A few cried. Your friends. And Coco. The thing is. I ended up getting detention. After the assembly, I walked up to her and yell at her. I told her she didn't have the right to be sad. That she tortured you. And she got her wish. You are basically gone. And she just stood there. Sad. It was the first time I ever saw Coco Brown cry. But I didn't care. Everyone sends me looks in school. And they tell me I hope she gets better. Today the nurse who by the way thinks you're really pretty and she is totally jealous about it. That made me laugh. But anyways she told me you showed no signs of getting better. But they would keep trying. Can you try though Y/N? Can you try to get better? I know I was mean before but please, I promise I will do anything and everything you say when you wake. We will never argue again." He squeezed her hand. He looked at the clock. "I have to go to work," Shawn frowned. He kissed Y/N's cheek. "Bye babe," He said. Then he went to leave. But then out of the corner of his eye he saw her hand move. He freaked. "Doctors doctors she is moving!" He yelled and ran to her. Maybe he was going crazy. He swore before she was waking. He wasn't right... They ran in. "She moved she moved her hand," Shawn gripped it tightly. They ran over and starting doing stuff. And he waited. Please Y/N. He thought. Please. They worked and he waited but she did nothing.
"Son I think you just thought you saw it," The doctor said sadly. But when my thoughts were at the worst and my hope was gone.
"Shawn," A tiny whisper called. I looked over.
"Y/N,"
