Practice went well. I missed my friends kasi namiss din nila ako. I offered my apologies because they declared their anxiety while I was out.
They gang gave me a box of muffins, which I gladly accepted and selfishly claimed. When we had our morning break, agad akong hinila ni Robbie papuntang kiosk.
"Beige!" She said as she hugged me. Napatawa ako. Yes, she may act tough and brusque, but I know she's the sweetest and most thoughtful girl.
I hugged her back at mas napatawa ako nag marinig ko siyang suminghot. She can be dramatically shallow too at times.
Hinarap ko siya at sinubukan niya pang itago yung mukha niya. Tinawanan ko siya.
Agad niya naman akong hinampas. "Nakakatawa, ganon?"
Sinubukan kong pigilan yung tawa ko but I can't help to let that snort escape.
Sinamaan niya lang ako ng tingin saka umupo na ng ayos at tumingin sa kawalan. Nang makita kong nagseryoso na siya, sinubukan ko na ding kalmahin yung sarili ko at magseryoso na din.
"Did he talk to you already?" She asked.
There was a slight confusion in me when she asked that and then I thought, sino pa bang ibang tinutukoy nito?
I sighed. May nakwento sakin si Ice habang nandun siya sa bahay nung nagkasakit ako. Sinabi niya na may tampo daw si Robbie sakin for not opening up to her. She felt neglected daw.
Robbie came up to him the other day to confront him about how we've been trying to stay away from each other. She wanted to know what's up and if I won't tell her, she'll still find a way to help me fix my dilemma. So she forced Ice to spill things to her.
At first ayaw ni Ice. Him telling Robbie things won't make her feel better.
"Oh eh bakit sinabi mo pa din sa kanya?" I asked him.
He just shrugged and turned his back at me. "Mahal na mahal ka niya na kahit na may tampo siya sayo, gusto ka pa din niyang tulungan. At di ka niya matutulungan kung di niya malalaman ang problema. I felt how much she loved you. Ayokong maging hadlang ng pagpapakita niya kung gano ka niya kamahal."
He faced me and continued speaking. "Because it hurts when you don't show much you love that person."
