Errand boy?!

T-this can't be serious! Bakit ako errand boy sa debut ni Crim?

Agad kong tinawagan si Dane. Baka naman kaming dalawa ang assigned dito. That's right. Ganun nga yun.

"Yo Ice, you received the invitations yet?" bungad niya sakin.

"Ano assignment mo?" Tanong ko agad sa kanya.

"Ha? Uhm, sandali. Ano.. Teka, nakalimutan ko. Ahh! Found it. I'll be grilling."

Ha?!

"Are you sure hindi errand boy?" I asked.

"Errand boy? What the hell!" Tumatawa-tawa siya. "That is the most ridiculous assignment I could ever get in an outing like this."

Ugh. What the hell is he trying to say then? This bastard.

"I am an errand boy, idiot," I said through gritted teeth.

Tahimik lang yung kabilang linya. Shit, ano nanaman ba to?

"Oyy, Dane wha--"

"How unfortunate!" He laughed. He was laughing real hard already. He's even gasping for air already. Ugh, what the heck. He's fcking mocking me.

I hung up. Kingina bukas pa yata to matatapos tumawa eh.

Si Sol. Tama. Kaming dalawa nga ang errand boys. Of course it won't be Dane. Wala namang maasahan dun. Sol is responsible, kaming dalawa nga ang assigned to do the errands. Tama.

"Sol," I said as he picked up his phone.

"What is it?" He asked.

What the? Is he sleeping?

"Were you sleeping?" I asked.

Tapos walang sumagot sa kabilang linya. Agh fck this guy is hopeless. Agad ko na ding in-end yung tawag.

What is this? Whoever planned these assignments is going to be so dead.

"Crim, anak! Have you prepared your things already?" Mommy asked as I reached our dining area.

I nodded. "I'll just ask kuya to load our things after breakfast."

Mi turned towards kuya and Yvan then. "Both of you, don't forget our reminders, okay? I'll check on you from time to time. Take care, okay?"

Kuya grunted. "Mi naman. Of course. I'll take care of those kids."

Napatingin kaming dalawa ni Yvan kay kuya. "Kids?" Sabay naming tanong.

Dumating din si daddy sa dining area. "I've already contacted Victor Elizalde. Crim, anak," Dad turned towards me. "I asked him that he order his men in the beach to have you as the only guests today until tomorrow. Wala kasi akong participation sa debut mo, I thought that could at least help." He wrinkled his brows at me.

Tinawanan ko lang siya. "Daddy naman. Kaya nga mas pinili ko yung ganung debut para hassle free sa inyo ni Mommy."

Sumimangot si daddy saken. "I just can't let my princess's debut slip my hands, can I? Hayaan mo na anak."

"Sancho, enough of the foolishness. Finish your food before the children does. Aalis na yang mga yan," Mommy reprimanded Dad.

"O-okay.." tumango nalang si daddy.

I'm quite used to seeing them like this. Medyo under si daddy kay mommy. Pero nakakatawa padin sila.

Admit it, everyone considers their parents' marriage as one of their relationship goals. Because I personally do.
