"Yes, I'm on my way dad," I repeated for the nth time. Kanina pa kasi ako tinatawagan ni dad kung nasaan na ako. We're about to pick up my lil bro at the airport today.

"Kanina ka pa on the way. Be honest with me, where are you?" He said.

I grunted. "I told you I'm stuck at traffic." I pressed the horn several times to let him hear that I am, indeed, stuck at traffic. "I'll be there, don't worry."

He sighed in the other line. "All right. Take care, son."

"Thanks dad, love you." I ended the call.

I held on the wheel harder. Fck this traffic, really. It delays many things too much.

Suddenly I felt a hand on my right hand. "Chill, okay?" She laughed.

I sighed. I held her hand and looked at her. I smiled at her at tumango lang. "Wait till you meet my brother," I said.

Sumandal siya ng ayos sa passenger seat saka tumingin ng diretso sa kalsada. "How odd, we've known each other for almost half of our lives but never have I got to see your brother," she laughed.

"He's not much of a threat, don't worry," I tried to ease her up. I shrugged. "Most people say he's like a mini version of me. Babalik ka lang sa past if you see him. Yun lang."

Tumawa siya. "Like Aaron and his brother?"

I shook my head, "Probably."

"Have you met the kid? He looks just like Aaron. Pero ikaw yung ugali," tumawa uli siya.

Slowly, umaandar na yung traffic.

"What does that have to mean, huh?"

She wrinkled her nose. "Masungit," she smiled at me.

I laughed and pinched her nose. Tumawa din siya.

"Why are you picking up Yuan at the airport? San ba siya galing?"

"Singapore. May program yung English department ng school, he was one of the representatives."

Tumango-tango siya. "Daig ka."

Tumaas ang kilay ko sa sinabi niya. "What are you saying?" Patawa-tawa kong sabi.

Umiwas siya ng tingin saka tumitig sa bintana. "Wala, sabi ko dalian mo na. He'll be arriving any minute tapos wala pa tayo dun."

Tumawa nalang ako. "All right, love. Masyado ka talagang mainipin."

Sinamaan niya lang ako ng tingin saka ako nagdrive uli.

Pagkarating namin sa airport, saktong dumating na din yung buong team na pinadala sa Singapore.

Agad kong nakita si sir Kael. He was suprised to see me after three years.

"Sir Kael!" I greeted him and immediately embraced him.

"Ice, good to see you kid," he said. He shook hands with my parents too.

Napadako ang tingin ko kay Yuan and saw that he's staring at Crim. Crim's reaction was ridiculous. Nanlaki yung mata niya as if she saw a ghost well in fact, si Yuan lang naman ang nasa harap niya.

Nilingon ako ni Yuan at gulat din siya. What the heck's happening between these two? Bakit gulat sila sa isa't isa? I know this is the first time they saw each other in person, pero grabe naman siguro yung ganong gulat?
