"Ice, would you like to play with your kuya Baste while I and your tito Sancho talk inside?" Dad asked me.

I just nodded and went to their pool patio. At their garden, I saw kuya Baste and a little girl playing wrestling.

Natawa ako. Tomboy ata yung babaeng yun. Bakit siya nakikipag-wrestling kay kuya Baste, eh malakas si kuya?

Nilapitan ko sila. Nakita ako ni kuya Baste saka ako nilapitan. "Ice!"

"Kuya," I greeted.

Nakatingin padin ako sa babaeng kalaro niya kanina. Nagpupunas siya ng pawis niya.

"Crim, come here for a while!" He called for the girl. So her name is Crim. How cute.

Tumakbo papalapit samin si Crim at pinakilala kami ni kuya sa isa't isa. I smirked at her. Nakikita ko kasi sa mga kuya kong pinsan na ganito sila kapag may bagong kakilalang babae, and they end up getting the girl smitten over them. Might as well try.

But her face wasn't similar to how the other girls would react over my smile. Nakangiti siya habang naka-game face.

Whoa. Walang talab sa kanya? Bakit sa iba naman, tumatalab? Bakit walang epekto sa kanya?

Medyo nainis ako dun. If that's the case..

"You're playing wrestling?" Ngiti ko kay kuya. Tumango siya. "Crim wanted to try it. Di ko naman akalaing amazona pala to," he laughed.

I smirked again. I turned to look at Crim.

"You look small for you to play wrestling. Tsaka bakit ka nagwre-wrestling? Tomboy ka ba?" Pang-aasar ko sa kanya?

Nahalata kong nainis siya. Napangisi ako sa isip ko. Mukhang mag-eenjoy ako dito ah.

"Ano bang pakealam mo?" Singhal niya sakin.

Di ko mapigilang mapangiti. She's actually getting pissed over that? Hindi siya umiiyak? She's really different from the other girls I've met.

"You look weak," I said. Dang, I wanna see how she reacts to this!

Sinamaan niya ako ng tingin. Para siyang nagpipigil ng gigil. Aww, shoot. She still looks cute kahit nanggigil na siya.

"I am not!" She replied in a loud manner.

I shook my head. "No, you are weak."

"I said I'm not!" Sigaw niya. "I'll prove to you!"

Satisfaction was evident in the way I smiled. This girl is really interesting. She challenged me.

"Okay," I shrugged.

Maglalakad na kami ni Crim papunta sa kung saan sila naglalaro kanina nang pumagitna si kuya samin. "Whoa, wait a sec." Tumingin siya kay Crim. "What do you think you're doing?"

Sumimangot si Crim kay kuya. "I'll play with him! He said I'm weak but I'm not and he won't believe it! Nakakainis eh!"

"No," kuya Baste said.

"But kuya! Just one game!"

"I said no."

"Ugh. Why are you so stubborn?"

"No, you're being stubborn. You've always been."

Kuya Baste then turned to me. "If she still insists, please go easy on her," he whispered.

Napangiti uli ako. So hindi pala talaga siya umuurong sa hamon? She's that type of girl. Hindi siya titigil sa isang bagay hangga't hindi siya nagtatagumpay doon.
