I put the sodas onto the counter and the cashier scanned them. "Okay that'll be $5.78" I went into my bag, and a hand pushed my hand back into my bag. I looked to the hand and followed it to the body. "Don't worry, I got it." Bruno said. Bruno pulled out ten dollars and handed it to the cashier. "Okay, your change is four dollars and twenty-two cents." Bruno gracefully took the change and put it into his pocket. I grabbed two bottles and swept them off the counter and Bruno did the same. Bruno and I walked across the street safely, and made it back to the spot where Miriam and Owen sat. "Damn, what took you guys so long?" Owen asked. "Oh shut the hell up." Bruno said with laughter in his voice. "Lily let's go in the water." I agreed and took my dress off, where my bathing suit laid underneath, and Miriam did the same. A blue and white bikini I wore, and Miriam wore an all black bathing with exposing sequence on the sides along the hips and sides of her body. "Damn" we both looked back. "Who said that?" Miriam asked. Bruno and Owen both pointed at each other not wanting to admit who made the comment. "Anyways! Let's go Liliana" Miriam grabbed my hand to walk to the water.
