It was the next day and now Bruno myself, and our real estate agent, Joseph Mariano, we're looking for houses. Mariano chose three houses that was in our wish list. The first house, it was very spacious, clean neighborhood, except it was too close to a busy street, not something I want my young children to be around. When we were on our way to the second house, the roads became very familiar to me. I looked at the street name. "Cherry Ave." This was the street where I lost my parents. How do I remember? Because the coloring of cherries is about to same color as the blood that was dripping from me and Miriam's face. We walked from the scene, just us two, we were all alone. We turned onto Cherry Ave. I was becoming fearful, scared. "Okay, this looks like the house." Bruno said, putting the car into park. I remained quiet, as I held Lucy in my arms. Bruno walked on the the pathway, leading to the door following Mariano. I remained on the sidewalk. "Lily what's wrong?" Bruno asked. "I can't go inside there." "Why?" "This was the house I grew up in, memories all around." I retorted.
