The baby. It's coming. I was excited, yet scared at the same time. Bruno drove me to the hospital and took me the emergency. "Excuse me ma'am, my girlfriend is in labor. We need a doctor." "Okay sir." Bruno sat me down, and I didn't sit for long. A doctor with two nursing assistants came out and put me in a wheel chair. I grabbed Bruno's hand and gripped it as the pain grew more. "Okay.." The doctor looked at my paper work. "Liliana Peters, we're going to hook you up these machines, and I promise you'll have a safe and healthy delivery." Bruno's phone began to ring, I knew because it was giving me a headache. "Babe, I'll be right back." Bruno walked out of the room. "Bruno!" He put the phone to his ear, and told me to wait. This is a moment to remember and he'd rather take a phone call. It nearly sickened me when he walked out. The pain was growing more and more, and I wish I could hold his hand. "You're almost there Liliana! Give us one more push!" The doctor said. With my might and strength, I gave my last push and my baby, OUR was here. "A baby girl." One of the nurses said. "Congratulations to you Ms. Peters and your companion." The doctor said. Bruno walked back in and asked, "The baby already arrived?" "You'd know that if you were here, instead of being on your phone." I said to him. Bruno was disappointed in himself. "Who was that anyways?" "Nothing. Nobody to be worried about." Bruno said.
