I checked my phone and saw that Miriam called me three times. "I'll let you speak with her in private." Bruno said. "I'll be in the kitchen if you need anything." "Okay." Bruno stood up and kissed my forehead and exited the room. I dialed the number and the phone rang. "Hello?" Miriam answered sleepily. "It's Lily." Her energy level seemed to boost up once she found out it was me. "Oh my God where have you been? I've been calling you, and I even went to your house last night, and you weren't there." "Sorry Mimi, I...I was at a friends house." I said. "Who?" "Don't be nosy, what did you need?" "I don't need anything, but I have something to tell you." Miriam said. "Okay? Spit it out?" "You're going to be an aunt!" The news was not clear to me, even though I clearly knew what she said. "Me? An aunt? You're pregnant?" I asked shockingly. "Yes. 8 weeks." I picked up a pillow and screamed into it. "IS IT OWENS??" I yelled. "Yes!" We both screamed and hollered over the phone. Bruno walked in, since he heard his cousins name. "Mimi, I'll have to call you back!"
