I quickly packed my briefcase, and tried to get out of this place as fast as I could. "Liliana!" Bruno called me. I walked down the hall, fast, in my heels, ignoring him. "Ugh!" Bruno grunted "Liliana!" Bruno grabbed my arm to stop me. "WHAT!?" I yelled. Two other lawyers walked past us, staring at us. They were puzzled. I put my head down, and pulled my hair behind my ear. "Come here." Bruno pulled me to the side of the hallway. "She's fooling us again. She's trying to get into your head. You can't let her do this to you. I love you too much, to see you walk away from me. I can't raise a daughter knowing that her parents can't get along." I didn't want to even look at him. "It's not true Liliana, why don't you believe me?" Bruno asked. "Because you lied to me the first time. See I knew everything about this, me dating you, was wrong. I just don't listen to my heart. Stupid. I'm so stupid." I said to myself. I began to cry so much my legs became useless, and felt like noodles. "Baby." Bruno said. "We have a daughter now, so either way, we're not leaving each other." He added. "When those test results come in, we'll see."
