Tenth Doctor Imagine

"So, what do you think of it?"

"It's....wow." You breathed. You were staring out of the door in awe, admiring the stars like a small child would. While you were staring out, he was staring at you, light smirk on his lips, hands in his pockets. He was satisfied with your measured awe, it reminded him how beautiful the universe really was. You finally just leaned on the doorframe. "Are you ready?"
"....Not quite. Just...one more minute?" He nodded and walked away, leaving you to think at the universe. He thought about everything the two of you had been through.

Flashback

"...yeah, mum, I'm being safe. No, mum, I haven't stopped (passion). No, mum, I'm not seeing anyone." You rolled your eyes at this last one as she walked down the street. "Alright, mum. Have a good day. Mmhm. Yeah. Bye." You clicked off your phone and stopped walking for a moment. You saw a man, wearing a suit and odd shoes, and got the strangest case of deja vu. He was approaching you, and rather quickly.

"Y/N?"
"Yeah?"

"How are you?"

"I'm...fine?"
"Still (passion)?"
"Yeah...sorry, but who are you?" He smiled a bit. "No one, really. I just want you to know something. If you keep doing what you do, people will thank you for it."
"Really. And how do you know this?"

"Have a little faith, Y/N." His smile was charming, but he made her curious. "Alright, that's all, see you-"
"Soon?" You pulled out a scrap of paper and scribbled down your number. You (were/weren't) usually impulsive like this, but this case felt special.  "Call me." You shot him a little grin and continued walking, quicker now, because you had a sudden urge to (passion).

Of course, he only knew why you gave him your number because you had told him, as you grew closer. The TARDIS wasn't exactly new to you, although he had done something unusual in your case-he waited. First, he showed you. Then, he took you to present day Italy. After that, the two of you went back to visit (favourite creator). He could tell then that you were hooked. Today, when he picked you up, he told you that you had all of time and space to visit, and you took his hand. That was that. The first thing you asked for was to see the stars, years from now. They appeared unchanging to your untrained eyes, but he noticed every new star and mourned every burnt out one.

After another minute, you turned, closing the doors with you.

"Aliens?" He grinned at you. "Aliens." You watched him as he controlled his machine, like he knew what every last switch did at any time of day. There was a slight jarring sensation, that alerted you you had arrived, and you stood at the door, hesitant. What would it be like? Should you even be seeing this? You very slowly opened the doors, holding your breath, and then let it out. It looked...the same. You were at the same park you were at before. You turned, confused, and he smiled, leading you out. "Eighty years into the future. Nothing much has changed, yet, but the world is at its tipping point."
"I thought we were doing aliens, next."
"We certainly will, Y/n. Any aliens in any time on any planet, but first, just follow me."

He led you through the town that, while it had changed greatly, was still familiar to you in every way. You finally found yourselves in front of the museum for (passion). "Oh wow." You breathed, kind of excited to see who had risen up in your field. "Put this on." He commanded, and you reluctantly let him tie a blindfold over your eyes, and he lead you in. You walked with him, almost nervous. Surely someone you knew had become a great (passion). You would get to see them all the time and watch them grow-it would be amazing. Finally, he stopped you, and got in front of you to untie. "So, what's the grand surprise, eh? Is it Jillian, from the shop? She's always been really good at..." You trailed off as he moved. Set into the wall was a large nook, big enough for a crowd of thirty people, seeing as that's how many were in there.

Your name, in big bold letters, pictures and paintings of you while your work was displayed in glass cases. Pictures of people shaking your hand, and your very own pieces on display.

"Listen to this, Y/N." He began. "Y/N M/N L/N was a twenty-first century (passion), renowned for setting the future up in her field. She lived a long, wonderful life, filled with endless successes, and met with hundreds of famous people. It is said that she paved the rode for all artists trying to become a great (passion), and Morbin Kyle is said to of based all of her performances on the woman herself."
"What else does it say?" You leaned over to read it, but he retied the blind fold. "Hey!"

"This display talks about who you become, what you do, who you love, and when you die. That's not for you to see." He dragged you out, but you couldn't keep the grin off your face as you left.
