SILVER's POV

"Just take the bus, or the train."

"Mom." I sighed. Almost a grunt.

"Anak... Marami akong nakikitang schoolmates mo sa bus stop, you can hang out with them. Take the opportunity while your car's in the repairs."

Gusto kong mapakamot ng ulo habang kausap ko si mommy. I can't remember any instance that I've won a conversation over her. Well, maybe I can. If I wanted to. Never really tried. Let's just keep it that way, because I couldn't really argue. Or continue arguing. I just keep mum. Knod my way until kingdom come.

"A broken car is never an opportunity." hindi ko alam bakit sumagot pa rin ako. Alam kong hindi yun ang point niya. Alam ko rin naman ang pinatutunguhan ng argument ni mommy. Me hanging out with other people. Me, making friends. And other relationships... That's what she wants.

"You know what I mean, son. I'm really starting to think that you are a sociopath."

Sociopath. Mom do you even research? Gusto ko sana siyang bigyan ng definition. But I know she's just exagerrating. She's a professional and I can't lecture her about psychology terms and personality disorders.

"I don't have a criminal mind, mom. I have a conscience. I have a moral responsibility. I love you mom. And yep, I am NOT a sociopath." I just made it clear.

"Just... just try... try to meet other people." She made her point once again.

"I am. I meet people at school."

"Just try to make friends. You can have any other relationship with your classmates than being just a mere classmate."  I noticed what she's implying.

"I don't need them, people."

"Tignan mo. You, saying that. That just shows how you really need people, Silver. Oh, my Silver... You are actually making point for me. "

And then a hug.
