Calum:
"You said you tried it all before. And it only makes it worse."
I sat next to (y/n). I met her yesterday. She was beautiful. "Hi."
"Hey." She replied, looking straight ahead. "You know, I've tried it all before. It only makes it worse, Calum."
"I know. I have, too." I sighed, watching everyone play in this park. "We can't force ourselves, that's the problem. We just have to let it happen."
"I know. I just want to find someone."
You already have. I thought, but I nodded. I want to be the one to tell her how much she's worth. But, I don't want to risk our friendship. "You will. Eventually."
"So will you." Little did I know, she felt the same.
Ashton:
"Deleted things, I really meant, so now I'll say the things I never sent."
I let out a sigh. (y/n) walked over and sat down next to me, her back against the wall. "What's wrong?" She asked, even though we both knew the answer when one asked. She was broken. Just like me.
"Every girl that I loved, I could never deliver the note or send the text with all my feelings. I just want to say it all." I replied.
"Well, when you meet the right person, you finally will be able to."
"I have." I looked at her. "(y/n), this is what I wanted to say to you. Not anyone else: I love you. I really do. And I know you've been hurt a lot, so have I. But, I want him to be the last one who will. Because, I don't ever want to."
"I love you, too. We can help each other heal." She smiled.
Luke:
"Throwing rocks at your broken window. Only you can cure my sickness."
I would throw small rocks at her window and we could meet outside. But, too many have done that with her. And she's gotten hurt countless times. We were hurt together.
She didn't know she could cure it. Only her. She's the one I dreamt about. The only one I trusted with my heart. I climbed up the tree that lead to her window and knocked on the glass.
Well, hey, that wasn't really rocks. She opened the window and smiled. "You know rocks aren't my thing."
"I know. I'm in a tree. I, uh, knocked instead." I explained. She laughed. I smiled before losing my grasp on the object that held me up. She quickly grabbed my hand and pulled me forward.
"Be careful, Luke." She put on a hoodie and climbed through the window. She closed it before holding onto a tree branch. "We can climb down together. What did you have in mind?"
Michael:
"We'll safety pin, the pieces of our broken hearts back together. Patching up all the holes until we both feel much better."
(y/n) helped me and I helped her. We put a safety pin on the broken pieces of our hearts. We weren't fixed, though.
"Hey, don't forget to wait for the right person." I smiled.
"I won't. Don't give your heart to a random stranger, dork." She grinned. "Even if you know their name. They can still hurt you. You need to just let it happen, okay?"
"Okay. You, too. You do know you can still text or call me, right?" I asked.
"Whoa, I don't know if I can call you yet." She joked. "But, seriously, I know. Don't worry, it'll be fine."
"Alright. Don't make me call you first."
"You might have to, Clifford." She smirked. "I. Will. Be. Fine. It's just, what, a few months?"
"Yeah. I'll be expecting a text on the plane."
"You have to go!" She laughed. "Have fun touring!"
"Thanks. Bye, (y/n). See you in a few months." She's my best friend, making me really close to her and protective. We're both protective and don't want the other to get hurt again.
