Calum:
You were on your way home from work. You had a long day. You couldn't wait to see Calum and just relax for a while with him.
Your phone rang. Luckily, you were at a red light. A very slow red light. You answered the call, seeing it was Calum. "Hey, babe. I'm on my way home."
"Okay. I can't wait for you to see the surprise!" He exclaimed.
"Surprise?" You asked. Loud barking could be heard on his end of the line. "Cal, is-- Is that a dog?" You were full of nervousness and fear. You weren't ready to take care of a dog. It was a lot of work and both of you were away at times.
"Shoot. I wanted it to be a surprise, but. . ."
"Calum!" You didn't try hiding your fear. "I said we weren't going to get a dog! It's a-- It's a lot of work and-- It's just too much. We're away a lot. You're rehearsing and I'm at my job. Please tell me it's at least a small dog."
"Are greyhounds small? I'll ask Michael. He helped name the dog. We're calling it 'Calum (l/n).' Get it? It's my first name and your last name." You could hear the excitement in his voice.
"Calum Thomas Hood, I can't take care of a dog! I couldn't even take care of a goldfish! No, no, no! I love you, but we have to return it. It's best for the dog. My parents can't always take care of it and-- I'll be there soon!" You hung up quickly.
Once you pulled into the driveway, you got out of the car and quickly opened the door. "Cal--" You stopped speaking when you saw your boyfriend and Michael. "Where's the dog?"
"I told you." Calum smirked.
"Told me what?" You asked, stunned.
"That I'd get you back for the prank you pulled." He said proudly.
"But, the barking--"
"It was an app I downloaded." Michael explained. He tapped on his phone before you heard the barking. "See?"
"I'm giving you three seconds." You took a deep breath.
"Run." Calum told Michael, running away.
Ashton:
"(y/n)," Ashton whispered, his voice sounding like he was in pain.
"Ashton?" You asked, running over to him. You gasped, seeing red liquid on him. "I-Is that blood? I'll call the ambulance!" You hurried towards your phone and dialed the number.
Before you could press the call button, your phone was taken from your hands. "Huh?" You saw Ashton holding it. "Ashton, what the heck?! You're bleeding! Let me call them!" You had tears in your eyes.
"(y/n), no." He said, his voice sounding normal.
You blinked the tears away. "You're not-- You're not in pain?"
"Smell my shirt."
"Sorry?" You looked at him, surprised.
"Baby, smell my shirt. Here, I'll give you a hug and then you can." He hugged you. You inhaled the smell of the clothing.
"Ketchup?" You blinked. "Ash, that stains."
"Oops. I'll put it in the washing machine." He took off his shirt and walked towards it. Your cheeks heated up. You glanced at the floor while Ashton put his shirt in the wash and put on another. When he was done, you looked at him again.
"You're so cute." Ashton smiled before his lips brushed against yours. You smiled and placed your lips on his.
Luke:
"(y/n), I'll be right back. Just, uh, don't touch my phone. I wouldn't want you to find out-- I mean, sign out. . . That makes no sense. Just-- I'll be right back."
A wave of fear came over you. Was he cheating on you? You took a whole minute deciding if you should check his phone. Finally, you grabbed it. Surprisingly, it was unlocked.
One new message from Michael.
You tapped on the notification. It brought up the chat. You looked at the most recent text.
Dude, when can I come over? Is (y/n) still there? I thought we could have some alone time. <3
You blinked, surprised. You looked at the heart and wondered why you would have to leave. For their alone time. Without a second thought, you went to the room and packed your belongings.
"(y/n), what's going on?" Luke asked.
"You know what's going on, Luke! You're cheating on me. With Michael! Maybe I was just a cover up for you two! You don't have to worry about me getting in the way of your alone time! Congratulations!" You snapped, tears running down your face.
"(y/n), wait. I think you should hear me explain."
"Fine." You let out a sigh.
"I was joking with you. It's all a prank. Earlier, I asked Michael to send me that text. But, I had to ask him in person or else you'd see it if you went on my phone. If you didn't, it wouldn't have worked. I made myself seem suspicious and purposely left my phone unlocked. Basically, I got you back for pranking me. Even though I was the one who started this prank war."
"What?" You asked. It all made sense. "You. . . You. . ." You hugged him. He returned the hug. "I never wanted to leave. I was just hurt and-- That was a good prank."
"Thank you." He smiled and kissed the top of your head. "I'm just glad you let me explain."
"Me too."
Michael:
You just got home from hanging out with your best friend. "Michael, I'm back!" You yelled, closing the door. You received no reply.
"Mikey?" You asked. "Is everything alright?"
No reply.
You grew concerned. You walked into another room and didn't see him. "Michael?!"
"(y/n), sorry, can you come here?!" Michael yelled. "Hurry, it's really urgent!"
You bolted into the room and tripped over something, your face landing in a pie. You hadn't seen that. You got up. "Michael."
You heard him laugh. He then smirked. "Invisible string, baby. You didn't see the pie?"
"No," you muttered. "I was focused on you needing my help."
"You're so sweet."
"You're not." You answered.
"Hey, you're the one who pranked me. I had to get back at you." Michael replied.
You suddenly had an idea. You smiled, "Aww, you're so cute!"
"What?" He asked. His eyes widened as he realized what your plan was. "No, no, no. (y/n), don't!"
You had hugged him, rubbing your cheek - that was covered in the cream - against his. He groaned, but returned the hug anyway.
