Calum:
"(y/n), I want you to meet a friend of mine." Michael said, talking to you on the phone. "I think you'll get along."
"The boys? I already met Luke and Ash." You replied, confused.
"There's another one, remember? He was sick when you came over." Michael informed you. "So, I thought you two could spend some time together at my place."
"I don't know, Mikey. . ." You hesitantly told him.
"Please? Just for a few hours. That's all. I promise."
"Fine." You reluctantly agreed. "What time?"
"Now is fine. I'll let him know. See you soon."
"Bye." You hung up, letting out a sigh. You weren't really in the mood to meet this guy, but Michael was your best friend. Besides, you might become friends with him. You took a quick shower and changed into a casual outfit. A (favorite band that isn't 5SOS) shirt and jeans. You slipped on some converse, tying the laces.
You arrived at Michael's house, knocking on the door. He opened it, greeting you with a hug. You wrapped your arms around him, smiling. You both pulled away.
"Come in." He moved out of the way. You stepped inside and heard the door close behind you. "Calum!"
A male with dark brown hair entered the room. "What? Oh, hi. Michael told me a friend of his was coming. I guess that's you."
"Yeah. You're in the band with him and the boys?" You asked. He nodded before muttering something under his breath. You couldn't understand what he said. "Did you say something?"
"No, I just didn't expect for you to be his friend." Calum said, surprising you.
"What's that supposed to mean?" You placed a hand on your hip, squinting at him.
"Nothing."
"It does mean something. What did you mean?" You questioned, curious about his explanation.
"It doesn't matter."
"If--"
"Just let it go. You dress nothing like him and you seem completely different than him." Calum rolled his eyes. "Who knows if you're pretending to be nice for the fame of the band."
"Excuse me? I've known Michael for years before he had started the band. That was a few years ago. I can't believe I thought this might be nice. Turns out, you can't open your eyes and not make assumptions. I'm not here for fame and I am Michael's friend. Sorry I don't meet your expectations." You snapped.
"She wouldn't do that, mate." Michael defended you. "Maybe we should just go watch a movie. In different seats."
"No way." Calum replied immediately. "I'm not going to spend time with her."
"Like I'd want to spend time with you." You rolled your eyes. "Michael, you're friends with this guy?"
"Yeah, he's never acted like this--" Your best friend's eyes widened. "Oh."
"What?" You raised your eyebrows, confused.
"I--" Michael ran a hand through his pink hair before looking at Calum. "I need to talk to him."
"Wha--" But, Michael had already darted to another room with the boy you hated.
Ashton:
"I'm confused." Ashton said, looking at you then Luke. "You're not dating?"
"Nope, we're just friends." Luke answered. You nodded.
"We met in kindergarten, right?"
"Yep." The blonde male smiled. "I can still remember what you looked like." He laughed. You rolled your eyes, looking at him.
