Calum:

"Want to go downstairs?" Mali asked, smirking. You saw her smirk and immediately knew she was up to something.

"Nah, I'm good." You said, avoiding whatever her plan was.

"Okay, I'll just go watch (favorite TV show) by myself." She replied innocently, leaving the room. You sighed, following her.

"Not without me." You sat down next to her on the couch.

"Ha!" She smiled. "I got you down here."

"So?"

"So, I'm going to do something and you can't hate me."

"I could always hate you." You answered. She laughed.

"You won't. Hopefully." With that, Mali left the room. You raised an eyebrow, curious as to what her plan was. She came back. "I'm going to go shopping. I'll be back in a bit. You can just stay here, I trust you."

"Mali," you began, "what are you up to?"

"Nothing. Look, (favorite TV show) is on. Bye!" She quickly left. You sat there, confused. You heard the front door open and close. She locked the door behind her.

You heard footsteps going down the stairs. You mentally sighed, realizing what she did. She left you alone. With Calum. "I'm so going to kill her." You muttered.

"What did Mali do this time?" A voice asked. You turned around to see Calum.

"She, uh, left." You answered. "Nothing bad, really. I just didn't know I'd be alone with you." You said. "Not that you're bad to be around. You actually seem pretty cool and I'm going to shut up because I keep going on and on. So, yeah." You replied.

"I seem pretty cool?"

You nodded. "Yeah. I don't know if you are, though." You smirked.

"Would I be cool if I went on a date with you?"

"Not if that's your way of asking me out." You bit your lip, smiling.

"(y/n), I'd like to get to know you more. Will you go on a date with me?" Calum asked. You nodded.

"Yes. I'd like to." You replied, making the boy smile.

"Friday night?"

"I can't, I have a date."

"What?" He asked, sounding a bit hurt and surprised.

"I'm kidding, Calum. Friday works." You laughed.

"That wasn't funny."

"Yes, it was and you know it."

Ashton:

You took a deep breath. You were standing outside Ashton's bedroom door. Your hand was in a fist, hovering over the only thing separating you two. After a minute, you turned around, starting to walk to your friend's room.

You heard the door open. You froze, too nervous to continue walking. "(y/n)?" You could hear his voice. You loved his Australian accent. His sister had one, too, but his was amazing.

"Uh," you turned around. "Hi."

"Hi. Do you need anything?"

"Uhh," you were ready to tell him that you didn't. But, your mouth said otherwise as you told him, "Yeah, actually."

"What do you need?" The boy asked. You couldn't think of something to say, despite having a high GPA.

"I kind of need some. . . Guy advice." You swallowed, nervous.
