TONIGHT IS THE NIGHT

Aaliyah's POV

I pulled up to the banquet hall where they were holding the dinner party. The valet took my car as I walked inside. The setting was very nice. I was walking around talking to some clients of mine and hopefully getting some new ones when I felt a tap on my shoulder. I turned to see Toya smiling at me.

Aaliyah: hey bestie.

(I hugged her as she hugged me back.)

Toya: I love your dress Aaliyah.

Aaliyah: you should talk. I might have to borrow yours.

Tae: too bad because I called dibs on it first.

Aaliyah: hey Tae.

(We hugged as we looked at each other's attire.)

Aaliyah: Tae that dress is fire.

Tae: you have to see Nicki's dress. That shit is something I would steal from her.

Nicki: did somebody call my name. Hey cuzzo.

(We hugged as we stood back and looked at each other.)

Aaliyah: I am with you Tae. We are going to steal Nicki's dress.

Nicki: we'll see about that. So, I love your hair.

Aaliyah: yeah I thought about changing something and so I was like let's do something different with the hair.

Wiz: yo Aaliyah, I like the hair, the dress, and shoes.

Aaliyah: lol, thank you Wiz.

Jay: wassup boss.

Aaliyah: lol, really Jay.

Jay: lol, forreal how was FL and TX? Cuba and wherever else you went?

Aaliyah: Ugh, long and tiring.

Chris: I hope you got enough sleep because the night is young.

Nicki: really babe, who says shit like that?

Chris: ya man.

(He wrapped his arms around her waist and smiled.)

(I looked around the room only to be pulled away by my mother.)

Mama: Aaliyah, it's good to see you back in town.

Aaliyah: It's good to see you mama. I just got back in an hour ago.

Mama: I know you're tired, but there is someone I want you to meet.

(I followed her as she brought me over to a man and a woman.

Mama: Mr. and Mrs. Ferlito, this is my daughter Aaliyah. Aaliyah these are the Ferlitos.

Aaliyah: nice to meet you both.

Mr. Ferlito: Nice to meet you Aaliyah. Tu madre nos ha dicho mucho acerca de usted. (Nice to me you Aaliyah. Your mother has told us a lot about you. )

Aaliyah: Espero que todo esto era bueno. (I hope all of it was good.)

Mrs. Ferlito: Así que su madre le dice que usted y su equipo realmente puede personalizar algunos coches. (So your mother says that you and your team can really customize cars.)

Aaliyah: Sí, señora, que podamos. Podemos personalizar hasta el último detalle para nuestros clientes. (Yes Ma'am we can. We can customize down to the last detail for our customers.)
