I was pushed into my open locker as I was getting my books out for my next classes.

"Yeah Paul Bunyan where's your blue cow now" a bully called Greg Harris, taunted me.

"Leave me alone" I muttered.

"Sure kid I'll leave you alone in your locker so you can think about what your sorry life has become" Greg laughed and he locked my locker with me in it, I couldn't breathe, it reminded me too much of the Avalanche, I was scared, I started crying, I saw someone walk past my locker, it was the Principal.

"Help" I cried out, Principal Mathers stopped, I hope she heard me.

"Hello" Principal Mathers called.

"I'm stuck, someone locked me in my locker" I told her.

"I'll get the janitor immediately" Principal Mathers told me.

"Please hurry I don't like small spaces" I begged her.

"Will do, can you tell me your name sweetie" Principal Mathers requested.

"Virgil, Virgil Tracy" I told her.

"Ok, I'll be right back, just hold on sweetie" Principal Mathers reassured me.

I closed my eyes, I opened them once I heard the sound of my locker door opening.

"Are you ok" Principal Mathers asked me, she was standing with the janitor.

I shook my head.

"Do you want to talk about it in my office" Principal Mathers wondered.

I nodded, I went to her office, I sat down in the chair in front of her desk.

"What's wrong, I'm sure I can try and help you solve it" Principal Mathers questioned me.

"When I was 10 my mum died in an avalanche and I tried to save her and my little brother was caught up as well but I used myself as a human shield for him, ever since then I've hated small spaces because they remind me of when I was trapped under the snow, I couldn't breathe" I admitted

"Oh my, can you tell me who locked you in your locker so I can have a word with them about their actions" Why did she ask.

I wrote Greg's name down on a piece of paper and I handed it to her.

"Please don't mention my name because he'll hurt me even more" I whispered, I left her office, I went to my locker and got my lunch out, I sat alone on the table, I'm already two months into the semester and I still have no friends, I had a bagel which had a note from John which read:

You're welcome ;)

I smiled a little, at least he cares, I had a juice box and some fruit, I'm guessing dad helped make this with Scott. After lunch I got my books out for double English, I only have these two lessons left and then I can go to my piano lesson.

"Right today we're going to write  film reviews on this movie with a natural disaster, I'll let you lot watch it and make notes and you can think about how you plan your review, the review will be due in next week" Mr Price greeted the class and he sat us down, I sit right at the back, which is good.

He put the movie on, it was called Vertical Limit, hang on, it had snow in it, oh god, I put my hand up and Mr Price walked over to me.

"Yes Virgil what is it" Mr Price wondered.

"Can I sit out for this movie, it's just I-" I was cut off.

"No you jolly well may not sit out for this movie, it's part of the work I set, so you'll have to knuckle down and do it" Mr Price snapped.
