Aaron Hotchner's POV

The briefing is finished. Everyone's going out to take their stuff and to prepare themselves to get on the plane to go Chicago where our case is.

"Joy. Can I talk to you?"

"Yes, of course."

"Uh... It's a huge case and we need everyone on the field. We..."

"You're saying that I have to come? I told you! I can't! I have a six-month-old baby! I can't come with you!"

"I understand. But..."

"No! You don't understand! I won't bring a six-month-old baby to a crime scene!"

"You don't have to bring her to the crime scene. You don't even need to come to the crime scene. I just need you to come to help the police officers."

"And how am I supposed to bring Zoe on the plane?"

"I swear it's safe, don't worry."

Dave comes near us.

"What's wrong?" He asks.

"We need her to come with us."

"Dave! I can't!"

She calls her dad by name when she's at work.

"I understand. But we don't have any choices. You won't be on the field. You will help the police officers."

"But..."

"Joy. Please."

"Okay..." She sighs, before leaving to Garcia's office to pick everything she needs.

"I'm so sorry. I don't have any choices."

"I know Hotch. Don't be sorry. It's alright."

"I know... But I feel bad for Joy to bring her daughter with her. I know that she doesn't have any choices either, but..."

"I'll be there if there's anything. And Joy has Zoe's carrier, she'll be alright."

"But she's right! I would never have brought Oliver to a crime scene! I wouldn't have accepted that!"

"She decided to come back to work. She's coming with us."
