Part 62

Jennifer Jareau's POV

We just arrived at the amusement park and Hope and Jaeden already want to go on some rollercoasters. But Spencer and I asked them to wait a bit. Because before we're going to eat and after we're going to go on a few rollercoasters and we're going to finish the day by going to the waterpark. They both have their hospital mask on because there's a lot of people and we don't want them to get sick.

"Mommy!" Jaeden cries.

"What's wrong, Buddy?" I ask him.

"I want to go on the rollercoaster!"

"Not yet, my love. It's noon which means it's time to eat. We're going to go with Hope and Daddy after. Okay?"

He nods and we continue to walk to find a spot to have lunch.

We arrive at a place where there are tables.

"Is it a good spot?" Penelope asks.

We all agree and we settle down.

After having finished eating, we decide that it's time to go.

"Spencer and I are going to go on a few rollercoasters with the kids," I declare.

"I'm gonna go with Oliver since Emily can't go because of her pregnancy," Aaron says.

"She can come with us. We're gonna go to the waterpark because Zoe and Lacey can't go on the rollercoasters," Derek says.

"I don't really like rollercoasters, so I'll go with you too while Meg and Chris go on rollercoasters," Kate declares.

And we all split away.

Emily Prentiss' POV

I take off my shirt and my pants. My bikini lets appear my little belly.

"Wow," Derek exclaims.

"What?"

"You're gorgeous."

"Stop kidding! I look like a whale!"

"You're right. The most beautiful whale!"

I walk to the place where the kids are playing. There's a lot of slides ending in a pool with maximum 1 meter of water per place. But some place there's less. I sit beside Kate.

"Hey, Kate."

"Hi, Emily."

She looks at my belly.

"Lord, I wish I'll be beautiful like that if I get pregnant one day!"

"What? Meg isn't your biological child?"

"What?! No!" She laughs.

"Oh, okay..."

"She's my niece. Her parents died during September 11th. They were working at the Pentagon."

"Oh, I'm sorry..."

"That's okay. It could have happened whenever! And I think it's better that Meg hasn't known her parents a lot before they died. As she doesn't remember them, their death hasn't hurt her too much. I decided to have her custody right after."

"Do you think of it?"

"Of what?"

"Having your own children one day?"

"Yeah... But for now there's work and I don't think it would be a good moment to get pregnant because it's hard to find a replacement when you are on maternity leave, so if there were more than one person on maternity leave, I don't think Hotch would find it funny!" She laughs.

I laugh too.

"Hey!"

I turn back to see who is saying that. It's JJ. She's walking to us with the kids. They all have their swimsuit on. Jaeden takes his father's hand and walks to the slides. JJ asks Hope if she wants to go but she refuses. She wants to stay with her mother. She still has her hospital mask on. JJ sits beside me and Hope starts to play in the water.

"Did you see Aaron and Oliver?" I ask.

"They were going to go on another rollercoaster."

"How did Hope and Jaeden find their first rides?"

"At first they were both scared, but then they enjoyed it! Oliver had the same reaction!"

I laugh.

"I wish I could have been there!"

A few minutes passed and Aaron finally arrives with Oliver. Oliver runs to me.

"Mommy! Mommy!"

"What did you do?" I ask him as I hold him against me.

"Rollercoasters!"

"Wow! Did you like it?"

"I liked it!"

"That's so nice!"

"Why did you not come?" He asks me, looking at me right in the eyes.

"It's because of the little baby. The baby is not old enough to go on rollercoasters!"

He then lays his head on my belly and starts talking to my unborn child.

"When you will be older, we will go on rollercoasters," he whispers.

"I love you so much, Oliver."

Jennifer Jareau's POV

Hope hardly walks to me because of the water. When she finally arrives at me, she lays her head on my legs. I put my hand in her hair.

"What's the matter?" I ask her.

She doesn't answer and slowly closes her eyes before reopening them as slowly as she closed them.

"You're tired?"

She weakly nods. As I'm also tired, I decide to go to the car and take a nap with my daughter.

"Emily. I'm gonna go to the car to take a nap with Hope. Could you tell Spence about it? And also, do you how long you're going to stay to the amusement park?"

"Um... I think it'll be another three hours max. Is it okay for you?"

"It's alright. So, see you later! If there's anything you can call me!"

I carry Hope to the car. When we arrive, she's already deeply sleeping. I lower the seat and I lay down, Hope on me. Then I close my eyes and fall asleep...
