Part 43

Emily Prentiss' POV

I feel so full... Even though we ate the cake three hours ago and that I only ate a small piece. In a few minutes, it'll be time to have dinner. 

Dave is in the kitchen finishing to prepare the dinner while we're all in the backyard, talking and chilling. Oliver, Jaeden, and Zoe are playing. Lacey is in her uncle's arms, playing with her toy. And Hope has just fallen asleep in her father's arms.

"I'm coming! It's time to eat!" Dave screams.

I get up to pick Oliver and set him in his chair. JJ does the same with Jaeden and Joy with Zoe. As Morgan with Lacey. Spencer places Hope on the swing without waking her up.

"When will she eat?" Spencer asks JJ.

"She ate cake. I'll give her something later," she answers.

Dave comes with pasta, as always! But I don't know what is in it but as I smell it I feel nauseous. I can't stand the smell of it. I rush to the bathroom, apologizing.

Jennifer Jareau's POV

Aaron is going to see his girlfriend. I make him sign that it's okay.

"Stay with Oliver. I'm going to see Emily. Dave, don't worry. It isn't because of your food. In fact, yes. But it's because of her pregnancy. Don't take it personally."

I go to the bathroom. I put my head on the door and I knock. I hear Emily throwing up. I enter. I sit beside her and I rub her back. She lays down on my legs. Emily is crying.

"Is everything okay?"

"I feel so fat..."

"It's pregnancy. You know it. There's something else."

"JJ... I dreamed about him. I had that nightmare again."

"Emily... You know he died last year. He died in prison and has been buried."

"I know but I'm scared..."

"Did your psychologist diagnosed you a PTSD?"

"I..."

"Never mind. Just relax."

I put my hand on her little belly.

"This baby's gonna stay. This baby will be born. How do I know it? I just feel it."

Emily puts her hand on mine and she squeezes it.

"I never want you to go away."

"I won't Em'. I won't."
