Emily Prentiss' POV

Today, we're celebrating Christmas at our house and I'm reaching my 21st week of pregnancy. We also decided to reveal the baby's gender. JJ asked her mom to fill a balloon with confetti. If there are blue, it means it a boy and if there are pink it means it's a girl. I'm so excited about it!

It also has been 7 weeks that I'm seeing a psychologist again. I think it's helping me a lot right now.

Oliver is playing in his bedroom while Aaron is preparing the turkey. Me, I'm relaxing on the couch because Aaron told me too. I can't wait for the others to arrive!

A few minutes later, JJ, Spencer, Hope, and Jaeden arrive. JJ is wearing a beautiful black dress; Spencer is wearing usual clothes; Hope is wearing a beautiful red dress; and Jaeden is wearing a suit. The others arrive soon after, all wearing dresses or suits. Me, I'm wearing my only pregnancy dress.

I wanted to start with the gender's reveal, so that's what we're going to do. I ask everyone to make their prediction. Derek, Jennifer, Spencer, Dave, and Penelope think it's a girl and the rest thinks it's a boy. Aaron and I take a needle to pop the balloon. I close my eyes while popping it. I hear everyone cheering so I open my eyes: it's a girl!

I kiss Aaron.

"We're expecting a little girl!"

I then feel uncomfortable, so I sit.

"Are you okay?" Aaron asks me.

I take his hand and put it on my belly.

"She's celebrating with us," I smile.

Then we all eat the dinner and talk about everything. At 9pm, we put the kids to bed and I go to bed too. The kids can't wait to see their presents, but they have to wait till midnight to open them. The other members of the team continue their discussion downstairs. I'm so happy that we're having a little girl! It could have been a boy I would have been excited as much as now, though!

It's midnight and I'm woken up by Aaron.

"Sweetheart, it's time for the presents," he gently whispers.

I nod and I slowly get out of the bed. We then open our presents and continue to talk till dawn. Though, I fall asleep a bit before dawn, as the kids!
