Moving Forward

Part 60

Jennifer Jareau's POV

It's 9pm and we just arrived at the camping site. Hope and Jaeden are sleeping. I get out of the car and I open the trunk so I can pick up the tent. I get it out and I start to unbox it. Derek and Chris do the same. But Spencer hurries to help me.

"Jennifer, you need to rest. I'll install the tent."

I step back.

"Okay, okay!" I laugh, letting Spencer trying to install the tent.

He starts to assemble it. But he doesn't seem to know how to do it. Rossi approaches him.

"So, Mr. Genius. Do you have some difficulty assembling the tent?" He laughs.

I laugh too, hiding my face behind my hand.

"Do you need some help?" Aaron asks, laughing too.

"Um... I wouldn't refuse some."

We all laugh and Dave and Aaron help him to assemble the tent. Emily sits beside me, she's holding her son who's sleeping.

"I love watching the guys working," she silently laughs.

I laugh a bit too. I was going to say something, but I hear Jaeden calling me.

"I'm coming, Buddy!"

I walk to the car and I unbuckle him so he can run on the camping site.

A few minutes late, the tents are assembled and we install the sleeping bags in it and I install my kids' playpen so they can sleep. Once it's installed, I unbuckle Hope and I put her to sleep. She doesn't even wake up! Then, as it's almost 11pm, we all go to sleep. As there are only three tents, we are divided into three groups. In the first tent, there are me, Spencer, Hope, Jaeden, Emily, Aaron and Oliver. In the second one, there are Derek, Savannah, Desiree, Lacey, David, Joy and Zoe. And in the last one, there are Penelope, Carolyn, Kate, Chris and Meg.

We all need sleep because we drove all day long and tomorrow we're going to do something special as Oliver's birthday was two weeks ago and I missed it because I was undercover.
